Weapon (crossbow bolt), uncommon

These metallic bolts are magnetically charged by magic. When found, there are 1d3 + 1 bolts in a set. When you make a ranged attack with one of the bolts and hit a target that's made of metal or is wearing metal armor, you can choose to either pull or push the target up to 5 feet towards or away from you. Alternatively, you can use this property of the bolts even if the target isn't made of metal or wearing metal armor if you hit it with another lodestone bolt within the last 1 minute. A target that is Huge or larger can't be moved by this property.

Nobody was certain how the intruder entered the fortress. According to the accounts, the man fell like a comet to the stone, dusted himself off, and then nocked a red-blue bolt in his crossbow before setting out.

'His movements were precise, as if made with perfect knowledge of the guards' movements,' one story recounted. 'The man would fire a bolt to push or pull them in line with some foreseen plan: congesting hallways, blocking archers' sight, confounding every effort to stop him before it could even happen. No one died, but I'll be the first to say that everyone involved walked away feeling all the more embarrassed.'

The only reported theft was of a block of strange metal, something that had been discovered in an equally strange crater in the far reaches of the kingdom. What its properties were, we may never know.
