A bit of a closer look at my new design for the mascot/persona I'll be using to represent myself. I used 512x512 textures for these renders but will probably shrink them to 256x256 to give it a bit more of a lowres look. 

The idea behind the design was to turn her previous hoodie into something huge and cozy! So I hope I achieved that feel

My original concept for a vtuber persona was something I made in a hurry just to be able to learn how to prep a vtuber model, so it wasn't something I was all that happy with. When comparing the new design to my old one, she definitely feels more "mine" and is something I'd feel way more comfortable actually using. She did end up a bit shorter though! 

Here she is compared using the 256x256 texture map. 

Maybe she doesn't have that same "low poly" feeling the old one had, but the old model is pretty close in polycount to the new version (without the coat), it's just the texture quality is different. But also most of the tris were on version1.0's head haha.

I love the new look and the colours! The puffier coat is super adorable! <3 May I ask how do you get that sharp pointy look when you render your models? I just love the style!

I render it out at a lower resolution and then just enlarge the renders to 1080 afterwards

So cooooll!!! She looks amazing!! Both the design and the model turned out perfectly I think :D (and I definitely think you achieved the comfy look for the hoodie, i want one)
