Bennett ===LYRICS=== (FEENIE) Did you guys want to hit up the playground after school? (STINK) Can’t go to that playground, kid. That’s Renegade territory. (SKULL) You don’t mess with the Renegade! (FEENIE) “Renegade?” (MOLLY) You don’t know about the Bubblegum Renegade? (STINK) Tch. Then I guess we’ll just have to tell you. VERSE 1: (STINK) Card in the spokes and shoulder spikes (SKULL) Tearin' up the town on a tricked-out trike (MOLLY) Safety wheels off: They’re a dang’rous breed! (STINK) Don’t use a bandage when they scrape their knees. (STINK / SKULL / MOLLY) Stays after class. Tagging in chalk. (SKULL) Heard that on a double dare... they ate a rock! (STINK / STONK / MOLLY) Getting in fights. Cutting in line. (FEENIE) Bet they've been to juvie like a dozen times! (ALL) You don’t mess! Mess! Mess with the Renegade… (MOLLY) Oh no! (ALL) If you do! Then! Look at the mess you’ve made… (Whoa-whoa) Nasty, no-good, naught but trouble Bubblegum Renegade You want stress? Well you’d get less From divin’ on a live grenade! INTERMISSION 1: MOLLY: Careful darlin’. School just got out. Walkin’ home from the malt shop at this time of day… Never know who you might run into. FEENIE: Don’t worry! I’ll head straight home! STINK/STONK: But she didn’t. VERSE 2: (ALL) Straight-A student in a poodle skirt Playin’ on the playground when she got hurt Tripped in the park and her lanky limbs Got trapped in the jumble of the jungle gym Who should appear? Pink leather vest. (MOLLY) Lolly in the mouth like a cigarette (ALL) What could she do? No one to help! Baby teenybopper all by herself! When a hand! Hand! Hand comes reachin’ out… (Whoa yeah!) They will help, help, help help help you out. (Whoa whoa) Nasty, no-good, naught but trouble Bubblegum Renegade Say they’re sour, but turns out they’re Sweeter than lemonade INTERMISSION 2: (FEENIE) The Renegade nodded, then turned to go. I asked for a playdate… but they said “No.” (TRIXIE) Gotta get home by six. Sorry. I wanna. But mom gets worried. And I love my mama. (FEENIE) They revved up their spokes so they wouldn’t be late. But I’ll never forget you… my Renegade. (ALL) Nasty, no-good, naught-but-trouble Bubblegum Renegade Helps you out when you’re in trouble Bubblegum… Renegade~!

I love stonk. I really hope that's his legal first name too, completely coincidentally

very nice song! I really liked it

Wonderfully retro in a bizarre playground way, I love Trixie's and Phoenica's styles, also Stonks, someone will make a meme template I'm sure of it. Also Molly calling Phoenica "Darlin'" and the light undertones of barely restrained 50s lingo/accent it activated some neuron in my brain.

Catchy song and I really love the 1950s fashion aesthetics that you used for the characters!

Edranair

Aww, that's adorable!

Watching this I’m reminded that the type of boy Phoenica likes is different from the type of girl she likes. And that Trixie checks lot of boxes for that latter type.
