After an incredible amount of work, The Art of Epithet Erased is finally finished! This massive digital artbook contains over 300 pages of never-before-seen concept art and doodles from over 20 artists and almost four years of work. CHECK YOUR KICKSTARTER MESSAGES FOR THE LINK.
(this thing took so much work to organize and put together, oh my goodness)
The images and text were gathered by myself and organized by graphic designer Shanon Pallatta. I started putting this thing together in January! We had to scrub every single discord server, every DM, every email thread we've ever had to find all the artwork that the team had saved over the years. And in the end, we had so much of it we couldn't even fit all of it in the book without it looking ugly! This is a curated selection of the best and most interesting stuff we had on hand.
The book includes:
- 85 pages of character art
- 148 pages of background and video artwork
- 42 pages of map artwork
- and 49 pages of illustrations for Prison of Plastic
Keep in mind, this book has concept art for all of Prison of Plastic. If you haven't read the book yet, be warned! This concept art does spoil the book!
Thank you all for your patience. Even something that I initially considered a "small side reward" like this artbook takes an absolutely insane amount of time to put together. Just organizing and editing the images took me two weeks. Then it took two weeks to hire a designer, and then five separate revisions of a 300 page book, with multiple notes per page! Multiple times! Phew. I do too much stuff.
I hope you guys enjoy this! You are welcome to share this with friends via screenshares and such, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't repost this on a separate file-sharing website, as it did take 20+ artists, months of work, and about $5000 to put together (not counting what I had to pay the artists to draw all this stuff, haha). That means you, person who keeps putting up my stuff on Kemonoparty! Yeah, I see you 👀
