LIVESTREAM ANNOUNCEMENT: "Smack Jello! (For Charity)" (Patreon)

Over the past few years, I've hosted several "Name That Tune" charity events where Players raced against Chat to see who could recognize songs for points. Now, for the first time, Players and Chat are working together! Their opponent? ME.

We'll be going through over 1500 songs from ALL the previous streamed games. Every time someone else gets a song before I do, I have to donate money. Chat and Players can make donations to hinder me and trip me up with challenges. The goal is to knock as much money out of my wallet as you can.

We'll be live starting JUNE 18th @ 12pm to raise money for the NAACP in honor of Juneteenth. Players will rotate in and out all day! Be sure to swing by and hit me with a bat. :)

RULES IN FULL:

This is a live stream being broadcast to YouTube. Songs will be played over a Discord call in the voice channel. Your job is to recognize the source of the song and type the answer in Chat before Jello can say it.  Every time one of the players or anyone in the chat beats Jello, he has to donate money.

For players and chat, spelling and grammar do not count. The rule of thumb is "If Jello can recognize what you're attempting to type based on the category, it passes." You may submit as many answers per song as you'd like. 

There are six categories. Each has difficulty levels 1-5. 

The categories are:

Cartoons | Anime | Movies | Live Action TV | Musicals | Video Games 

Jello will donate more money the easier the song is. A "level 1 difficulty" song is easier to remember, and therefor if Jello doesn't know it, he must donate $5.  Once a category and difficulty level are selected, we stay on that category and difficulty level until someone donates to change it. Jello may change the category or difficulty level if he gets five songs in a row correct. Chat and players may donate to change the category at any time.

Note that, by default, Jello gets to answer aloud, but the other players do not. This is for the sake of speeding the game along. Remember, we have 1500 songs to get through! It's ok if there's a little bit of friendly chatting now and then, but we stop after every song, we'll be here for fifty hours. 

For every $2000 raised, Jello's donation modifier increases. All donations are doubled at $2000, tripled at $4000, etc. Jello can donate up to $10,000. The game ends when Jello hits his cap or when all songs are exhausted. One of these is a lot more likely to happen than the other, lol.

DONATION LEVELS:

$1-5 - Jello is reduced to typing, like the rest of the players. However, unlike the rest of the players, his answer must contain the FULL title and be spelled 100% correctly.

$10 - Jello cannot answer in the first ten seconds.

$20 - Jello must answer first, answer correctly, and be able to sing or hum the answer. Otherwise, he donates x2.

$30 - Donor may swap the category and difficulty level. For expediency, if chat donates, the first suggestion is taken. Be ready to type yours if you want it seen!

$40 - Jello has a 5 second delay on the next four songs.

$50 - Jello is not allowed to answer at all. Automatic failure.

$75 - One player (Donor's choice) may answer aloud for the next ten songs. Multiple players may have this ability and this ability stacks.

$100 - Chat picks a new category: Jello must get all five of the songs right in a row, otherwise he donates for all of them. If he fails early, he donates right away for the cost of all five and the game continues on.

$200 - Same as the above, but Jello must also be able to sing a chunk of all five of these songs. If he fails early, 2x donation for the lot. Stacks with multipliers.
