For anyone unaware, I sometimes record my general feelings on a topic before writing it into a script for a video. I've experienced about 90% of Kingdom Hearts now and I think I have a pretty good grasp on it.

I'm looking forward to the video where you rip this series to shreds, and I say this as a fan(by which I mean I loved the first game as a kid and have despaired over the downward spiral the series has taken). Some thoughts: when people talk about more elegant/less button mashy gameplay, they're talking about post game bosses in 2. The writing/plot is horrible in every way, although I like to pretend that 1 is less bad than the rest. Yes, the disney pacing is terrible. Things almost kind of started sort of making sense with BBS, and then DDD screwed everything up again. Haley Joes voice got super awkward for 2 and on, and kairis role in the story is a joke. Someone less lazy than me needs to clip 14:05-14:20, because it is great. Please please please cover the trainwreck that is the pairing aspect of the fandom

I’m in the “they’re dumb but I like them” camp, mostly because I’m a disney nerd and like to giggle at bad movies or similar such. I have to say that the music is a high point though, and am sad you didn’t seem to like it since you didn’t bring it up as a like. It’s great on its own but the orchestral arrangements are just gorgeous.

Dude, FUNimation would hire you in a heartbeat. 👍 Also, apparently Terra is the only character who is kinda useless against super hard bosses. His block is bad among other things, and he doesn't work most of the time. Ven and Aqua don't have this problem, or so I've heard.

That's a nice thought, though I wouldn't be so quick to attribute to the folks down at FUNimation such ready eagerness on their part to hire talent in a snap-judgement instant, no matter how rare the talent in question.

Personally my best experience is to skip the cutscenes and go straight back into the action. Why are you fighting this guy? Just because, he looks dumb so he's probably evil

I’ll disagree to some extent. Agree to some extent. Quantum mechanics and otherwise nuance can explain most seemingly contradictory moments, but I agree it has harsh moments. Terra’s route is just a need for a certain preference. I agree that there’s a lot of mistakes. But ultimately it’s frustrating moments are outdone by the accomplishements. It’s the same concept of working out, playing a sport, and otherwise. I pushed myself on critical as every character and used several guides. It’s how most of us did it.

Although I do respect your views. The story telling is just preferences. Having pokemon pets that we make is fun. Getting to make something new is also fun for bbs. Explorer type people who like to socialize is what is fun. Namine wasnt made fake. She can literally control Xions memories meaning any nobody’s. Namine stated she was the one who made Sora do what he did... she was lonely. She is a girl. It makes sense she wants to be the center of attention. She also probably altered the memories of the others including marluxia. Namine was born from Kairi and Sora’s light to darkness(might explain the blonde hair from pure heartedness touching kind darkness as shown in kh1). Xion was made to represent Namine and Kairi. Npcs aren’t many because they keep losing hearts or out of fear stay inside. Psp from bbs couldn’t handle the crowds. Keyblades are rare because as you can tell that the worlds they need to respect the local laws, rules, regulations, way if life, and otherwise formation and the varies aspects which they have stayed in their own matters (eg adding different species to new environments fighting for foods) rephrasing mstr eraqus khbbs and King Tritonkh1. Although I admit the writers are smoking ganj it’s fun to play to games. Sorry if I came off harsh in response but I had to be protecting waifu Xion and her series which scenes had plenty of friendship moments and skips in time which represents friendship moments of generic humaness. Roxas even oushes Xion as a joke. Roxas and Axel make fun of people. Some of us have naturally long arms like lea. Goofy is meant for comedy. Sometimes in war things dont go well. A random unexpected non movie moment happens. A lot of kh is hidden in basic moments from a boy thinking his small town home going through confusing life full of mixed cultures and otherwise values traveling (yes in real life your local cultures will be so ardnously miscommunicated even giving a hug could mean something entirely different like joining a union or otherwise while a kiss is a hello. Even the reasoning is different) You have to admit playing as ven in the racing game was at least some fun. Main bosses dont want to tell because evil or at least nuanced schemes often follow the rule of a famous quote of pretending to be one thing while following another. People who like challenges enjoy this series. I’m willing to bet you have never beat a single secret boss. Which is fine. You don’t prefer fun button mashy games that dont have simple and clean stories. You prefer humor because everything has to have sensibility or make fun of what isn’t. I can follow that on some days.:) other days I push to find something different. Non sensibility is the basis of a lot of things in life and should be changed. Thanks for reading.:D

I think to be a fan of Kingdom Hearts, you have to understand that it is the most stupid shit ever. Like, I grew up with it, and I really should hate it know, but I don't agree that it takes it self seriously. I think the "fans" act like it is serious, and there is the underlying idea that it is serious. No, it's not. Like, Nomura wrote this in 4 minutes and he doesn't hide it. This game was pitched in an elevator and it wasn't supposed to have a sequel, but people liked it, so it got one. IDK if you played it on Crit or not, but the game is super fun on Crit. It doesn't explain itself, which is irritating and I get why you hate it. It's not an easy game series to get into. It sucks that it is that way. But, if you can look past the sheer stupidness, it's pure magic.
