Progress Report 3/17/2023 (Patreon)

I hope you're wearing green! You wouldn't like me when you don't wear green. Here's what I got done this week:

• Fixed the pinky toe bone so it doesn't affect the base of the foot as much
• Set up 3D pose references for all six tier drawings
• Finished the line art for the base poses in all six tier drawings

Ah, these beginning phases of the drawing process are always a bit of a slog for me. It's figuring out the poses and the composition of the shot; there's always so many options that it's difficult for me to decide on one. Fortunately, I got all of that out of the way this week! Now it's just adding in the details: hair, clothes, wings/tails (if applicable), and of course coloring and shading.

Some of you mathematicians out there may have noticed that I'm making six drawings, but I only have five tiers. That's because I intend to add a sixth tier someday, but only when I feel I can handle it. Its reward will involve adding little things into animations, but if I'm not making at least one animation per month, the tier wouldn't be worth it.

Anyhoo, that's all for now. Hopefully I'll have these drawings done by next week, but time will tell on that one. I'm gonna eat some green-dyed Taco Bell in celebration of Saint Patrick's day. Have a wonderful holiday, and I'll see you guys again next week!
