It's time to Fri-Fri-Fri-Fri-Fri-Fri-Friday! Here's what I got done this week:
- Set Prototype 3 as the default gameplay and removed all the testing pieces and code
- Made NPCs that run away from the giantess
- Made the NPCs move in random upward directions and bounce off vertical walls
- Made the NPCs die when they get stomped
- Fixed an issue with NPCs running faster after sliding past an obstacle
- Updated the ears on the 3D model to make them look better and more stylized
- Updated the feet on the 3D model to look a bit better
I decided to get to work on the pedestrians in Run From Me. They may play a larger part than what meets the eye, but only time and testing will tell for sure. I'll have a gif of them in action once I have them fully completed and implemented.
I also did some light 3D modelling this week; mostly touchups on the model to make some existing parts look better. I intentionally avoided anything that would send me down another multi-week rabbit hole in Blender! I'm looking at you, texturing... *Shudders*
Now then, I've got a bag of tacos and burritos with my name on it! Literally! The Taco Bell app is amazeballs. *u* Anyhoo, I'll see you guys again next week!
