The old animation was lacking serious impact. Since the blaster shares an energy pool with self-heal, we needed to redesign it. It needed to feel more impactful, satisfying and the hit needs to do more damage as well.

Self-Heal

This one is still pretty rough, but I already have a good idea what I'm going to do effect wise!
