I'd never even heard of this show, and couldn't figure out how you'd landed here... And then I heard Holtz's voice.

Always wanted to try this show. Glad I have someone to watch along with now. I recommend Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me if you’re looking for more short shows

Also it’s not a spoiler, Profit did poorly in the ratings and was cancelled after only 5 of the episodes produced aired. Profit ranked 138th of the 160 shows aired for 1996 season.

Thanks for making me discover this show (which I'd never heard of before). David Greenwalt... hmmm. Strangely, I can better sense his imprint on Angel now that I've seen this pilot. Looking forward to watching this with you. :)

Yes the suit was hunter green imo! Intrigued but gotta laugh at it, sooo serious 😛🤗🤣 i always see the main character the actor as the guy he played on heroes. Another show gone too soon.

It's funny, because I know I've seen at least some of this series before when my friend showed it to me, but I really didn't remember much at all until that last scene with the box. Then, I suddenly vividly remembered that specific scene!

I was going to skip this because I avoid watching reactors watch things I haven't watched myself. But since I'd never even heard of Profit I decided to look it up. First I saw that David Greenwalt was a co-creator. Next I see it starred Adrian Pasdar (who I know from Heroes and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Keith Szarabajka (Holtz on Angel). Last I see it only had 8 episodes (and was cancelled by Fox after only 4 aired). Okay, I'm in. I'll be honest: even if I *had* heard about it in 1996, I probably wouldn't have checked it out. It wasn't until sometime in the 2000s that I admitted that shows that weren't sitcoms, sci-fi/fantasy or animated could be good too. :-)
