hallooo corn pops! time to chat season 5 - and its kind of a longer one so make SURE YOU HAVE A BEVVY!!

anyway SORRY this was late but thanks again to those who helped me figure out premiere! hope it was worth the wait. 

this was SUCH a fun season and i'm so glad you were all here for the journey with me! can't wait for season 6! <3

All I'm saying is, The Watchers Council threatened to have Giles deported, and Giles was 100% sure they could do it. I have no doubt that with a bit of effort they could get Faith a pardon, and released from prison.

just a note to say that im having some really hard life stuff happen at the moment and your videos are my bright spot! season 6 is underated imo cant wait to go there with you!

WHY WOULD ANYONE LEAVE CHANNEL AFTER S5??? I mean 5 is in my top favorite seasons but 6 and 7 are btvsverse worthy asf. I am 100% down with slowing down and making it last longer, im not ready to say goodbye either even tho ive watched hundreds of times over and over. Idk maybe we can take breaks and you catch up the youtube? To stretch it out. I know even when its over ill be here. Angel s5 after buffy is over is my favorite season of his show and no matter what you watch after youll have stormy :) I really wasnt ready for the body talk. Long story short my granny passed this week who raised me a good portion of my life. I had already lost my papas at a young age so this week was the first time ever I went through being the adult, being one of the ones to find her and sit with her til she was taken away. People kept saying the body or her body and its irked me so hard. I even had a moment of being outside and hearing the birds watching them play like Buffy heard the kids playing. My sister who is barely 18 was apart of it and i felt idk how to comfort her. So its been a shitty week. But im glad for these few moments to forget and remember What Would Buffy Do ❤

Thank you for this, I loved it. I'm sorry it made you cry so much lol but also, it's really amazing to be able to share so much raw emotions with Internet strangers just because of a TV show (or, let's be honest, I should say 'THE' TV show). Big hug 💓💓

Finally getting around to watching this. I'm still near the beginning, and just got to the part where you were talking about wishing you could watch this show for the first time again. I had to say something now or I would have forgotten if I waited until the end. Whenever I tell people about reactions (people who have never seen them before, I mean), I always tell them that what's so great about them is, reactions are the closest you will ever get to watching the show for the first time all over again. When it comes to season five especially, I often tell reactors, enjoy, because you only get to feel this way but once. Reactions are the next best thing. I don't know if you watch other reactors, Darcie, but if I may recommend a few. Check out Liam Catterson, Dakara Jane, Sofie Reacts, Domi E, and Alley Box. Those are my top ones. Word of warning, though, some are finished the series, and others are ahead of you by a good bit, so just be careful that you only watch reactions to episodes you have seen, and be careful not to watch any separate commontaries (like this one) that might contain things that talk about episodes beyond where you are. Liam Catterson is finished and has been for some time, but he's really great. Alley Box and Sofie Reacts are currently in the middle of season 7. By the time you get anywhere near where those two are, they'll probably already be finished the series. Domi E is a few episodes into season 6, so you'll catch up to her soon. Dakara Jane is in the middle of season 5. I think she just posted season 5's Forever, the episode right after The Body. You can't ever see this show for the first time again, but maybe watching them will dull the craving for it a little.

Hi Darcie, I know you're onto season 6 and don't know if you go back and read comments on older shows but hopefully you see this! Okay, first things first: TARA'S EYESHADOW: try Urban Decay eyeshadow single in "Space Cowboy" or Colourpop supershock shadow in "Ritz" or "A Little Quarky". Alright, onto (possibly) more important things. I very recently discovered reaction videos and when I found you I knew I had to become a patron. Your reactions are SO fun and relatable and put me right back in the moment of watching Buffy for the first time. I LOVED your recap, it is so thoughtful, insightful and thought-provoking. As for the finale, as you gleaned from the Extras, Joss Whedon thought maybe Season 5 might be Buffy's last. The back-story on this is that the WB (the station that was carrying the show at that time) decided to drop/cancel the show but the fan support was big enough that in the end a smaller upcoming network called UPN decided to pick it up. Probably at the time the finale was being written Joss had no idea the UPN would come in and save the show so he tried to wrap up Buffy's story in a nice, heartbreaking little package. Onto other matters: As I mentioned I just found you so I am jumping around a bit in your videos, picking and choosing my favorite episodes to rewatch with you through the seasons. It's funny to see how much you disliked Xander and mistrusted Rupe at the beginning (remember that?!) and now to see how far you've come! I loved watching that transformation. Also since your first mention of dragons I have been waiting for you to have your moment in the season 5 finale. The pure joy on your face when the dragon appeared and the pure, abject sadness seconds later when you realized Buffy's plan were two of my most favorite moments on your channel!
