Hey Folks!

Today I'm releasing my latest video tutorial on building tabletop terrain using cardboard and magnets. I've got a couple more videos planned to showcase some fun techniques to take the material I've been designing for Patreon and take it to the next level. There's a magnetic gameboard I'm working on that brings together designs made in Dungeondraft and 3D miniatures for those of you who like to play in person.

All these videos come with free files you can test out yourself!

I'll also add the battlemaps in the attachments here

ASSET REQUESTS

I'm also getting back to making my way down the list of the Dungeondraft Request Board on Nolt. Dungeondraft assets were all the way on top and now that I've finished those I'm planning on taking a look at all the top requests and trending requests (for the new ones that people are entering in). I want to make sure the Dungeondraft asset packs are as optimized as I can get them! I might also update some old packs so I can delete them from the asset list (or place them into the OLD asset folder)

MAKE & VOTE FOR REQUESTS HERE

Next week I'm taking a week off to go on holiday with the family, but in the meantime, Tin will be continuing to work on animation and token designs. I've had some requests to try and get a character maker or at least share the layers of my tokens so people can build their own, and I plan on looking into the possibilities there. (Sharing the layers is easy but I'd like to focus on assembled designs first, so we can take the time to export all the disassembled art later).

I plan on using the DISCORD CHANNEL for any questions, as usual, I am still having lots of issues with the Patreon chat or you can hit me up at crossheadstudios@gmail.com

Building Tabletop Terrain with Magnets and Cardboard

For the next step in my Terrain Building Journey I've decided to turn to magnets and glue instead of just building my miniatures using only the cardboard itself. Just like last time I'm printing the art right on top of the cardboard and then assembling it as such. This time I decided to work from an existing piece of art by the artist Zyk0 C. instead of designing one myself. You can find the original piece of art right here: https://www.artstation.com/cheng_hc I'm also adding links to all the art used in this video which you can find on my website if you'd like to print it out yourself and try building it with me! https://crossheadstudios.com/terrain Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Crosshead Follow me here ▶ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crossheadstudios ▶ Twitter: https://https://twitter.com/crosshead Video edited by Julesedits
