Hello, one and all!

For some time people have been asking me to update the packs to get a better understanding of what my main assets are for building content. There were a couple of older packs in my list of main asset packs, and the main reason I kept them in there was because they still had some useful art in them.

Well out with the old and in with the new I say!

CH - Interior is a pack with 1000 assets that replaces a bunch of assets from older packs, including adding a couple of assets people have been asking for on NOLT.

My original goal was to get a video out by the end of the month that goes into detail on a lot of these patched assets, including some basic tricks to get even more use out of them. I didn't manage to get a video ready in time but I wanted to make sure you'd all be able to get your hands on these assets sooner than later.

VIDEO TUTORIAL COMING NEXT WEEK

MAIN PACKS: Dungeondraft, Interior, Biomes (or Seasons), Death&Desert - SUB PACKS: Elements, Mechanism, Sea and Buildings. My goal is to scrap Buildings & Sea and combine Elements and Mechanisms into a single new pack.

CH - INTERIOR has 100 PATTERNS, 50+ WALLS, 50+ PATHS, and a bunch of objects for building designs.

ANIMATION

I've also posted new animated Tokens & objects. I'll be placing animated objects in a folder linked to the asset folder they came from. This'll make it easier to find them and replace the still objects with animated ones.

For the tokens you'll see in the reel and in this shot that the new tokens are fully rotatable, and I'm planning on working on a tool so that you can edit them and create custom tokens for yourself as well. I'll talk more about this in due time.

SHADOWS

One of the biggest things I've been working towards in the past couple of months is building a tool that can create higher-quality shadows for my art instead of having to do it manually in Dungeondraft or post-processing the art in Photoshop. This is something I've been wanting to get into ever since I started working on assets and playing around with tools. I don't want to get into it too much just yet, but I think we've figured out a fantastic solution that might make it possible to create Photoshop-quality maps with a piece of custom software. This would be a massive step forward in creating custom maps and I hope we'll be able to showcase a demo or video of what we've been working on soon!
