Hello all you fine folks!

Things have been a bit quiet on my end, but I'm finally ready to showcase what I've been toiling at for the past couple of weeks! You see I've been doing all the work for Crosshead by myself for quite some time, there are so many projects I wanted to work on but only so much I could get to by myself. Well, I'm happy to announce I'm planning to expand and get more hands on deck for all the crazy stuff I still have in store for all of you!

First of all, I've been working together with another artist who will help me create more assets for my maps. The main focus of what this Patreon needs more of! Working together with someone will not only improve the quantity of work coming out for my patrons, but also the quality of my work. A lot more back and forth, to get the best of both our worlds.

Three weeks we've been at it together, and you'll see some of the results we'll be releasing very soon. All maps build out of assets you'll be able to reuse for your own content as well (as usual).

A second artist will be joining me to help create more isometric art, to build the city/town maps I've been working on. I've got nothing to show for this just yet, but we're working on blending styles, hoping to upgrade the content just as we did with the overhead maps here.

A third artist is helping me create some custom tokens, as a bonus thank you for all the amazing support these past few months. A special thanks for being patient especially as I was doing this little back and forth between us, to make sure everything is working neatly together. As some of you might have noticed, one of these tokens (in a color sketch) is standing in the header of this post to showcase how it works with the rest of the assets.

If you have any special requests for tokens, I'd love to hear about them in the comments!

Now originally I was also working on a fully colorable asset pack, which has about 100-150 assets I believe. Now I'd love for you all to test it out. The idea here was that you could copy an interior art concept design, and use its color scheme in DungeonDraft to build your own custom maps in the color style you'd want. The art can't be of the best quality, as I have to stick to all reds (and blacks), so I'll leave it here as an attachment for anyone who'd like to give it a whirl and we can see if it's worth exploring further in any capacity.

This post is just a preview of what's to come in the next weeks, and if things keep growing, I hope to keep everyone on board for a much longer time. Making it possible to create a lot more content and make it possible for me to have more time to reply to messages, take some time to get on social more often, instead of going day and night at this by myself haha.

I hope this reveal was worth the holdup, I'm very excited myself to share the results of the expanded Crosshead Team.

Thanks!

I'm loving the idea of top-down tokens that match your style!
