MAMA 2023 Performances (Enhypen, &TEAM, SVT, LE SSERAFIM, ATEEZ, TVXQ & more) (Patreon)

The WAY ATEEZ cleared is not even funny lol. 

Something told me to put them last and I'm glad I did. They not only were EXTREMELY Charismatic and engaged, they made it look like it was THEIR concert and they were having FUN and you had no idea what they were going to do next. Their mics were on a LOT of the time and it added MUCH needed energy AND they didn't have that TIRED AS DANCE BREAK instrumental everyone has. You can see the benefits of being a touring experienced act.

My ATINY HAT is on SOOOOO TIGHT my god i love them. Crazy form also sounds like a HIT. 

Next up is &TEAM. WOAH, Great styling, command and choreo. They look soo confident and sure of themselves, I enjoyed them A LOT. Their going up and up in my ranking. 

Le Sserafim and ZB1 were a tied third for me. More live vocals and less mechanical routine execution and freestyle performance energy would've been great but I'm sure that'll come with time.

Towards the end, I mention this. I had to rush through it though cos I was short on time and it wasn't giving anything I haven't already seen from them, they've proved themselves enough.

When Bouncy started I also got goosebumps. It is that song. My god. And yet can you believe that Ateez wasn't even nominated for Best Dance Performance at MAMA's this year?

i loved how they kept a spot for seunghan, this whole situation is honestly awful and i need him back immediately. i agree about the whole live singing thing, that's why i'm grateful for ateez and why i'm so bummed about stay kids not attending this year because they are another group that always got their mics on and give an insane performance. xikers did really well with that for the most part too!!! aside from that though my fave performances were def enhypen/zb1, the collab stages were so cool too! hao w his violin, yujin dancing, and a surprise of anton playing his cello. for a rookie group the scale of zb1 performance and how it was put together was really impressive!

When I tell you I have always had the MOST pride being an Atiny but they truly just outdo themselves every time, I have been BLOWN AWAY all day and my pride has grown again. My watch of this performance has to be over 20 now. They eat every time, they just have so much talent, charisma, and confidence. I am so glad I picked this group, I love them!

ty for the reaction! I would also highly recommend watching the collab stage (bnd, riize, txt and zb1) for 'endless rain' because that also gave me goosbumps lol. from yujins dancing, to anton playing the cello, all of it was so good!

I signed up for your Patreon because I couldn't get enough of your reactions to Ateez. They truly are on a different level. I only got into them a few months ago but think I am fully on board the Ateez ship. Also, loved Le Sserafim. It was cute how Seonghwa stood up faster than the girls when they won. He's a gg fan fr.

I think RIIZE are gonna put their whole energy in Melon music awards, GAG is the best charting song by a rookie bg in melon and is about to become de longest debut track to stay in top 100, the MAMA presentation was supposed to be with seunghan 😭 and you can see in the coreography that there is a space where he was supposed, I'm begging for them to give wonbin a solo guitar in MMA and for seunghan to magically appear

Ateez smashing the 4th gen boy group views for first 24 hrs record on youtube with Crazy Form with still many hours to go. I just wish they'd get more recognition with the Korean general population. Hope they do well with this comeback. I was so surprised they performed it 2 days before the album actually dropped. It was actually a smart marketing ploy.

I watched the Rising Sun cover so much, seeing Riize perform a song like that makes me.. hopeful for what kind of group they'll become. I also recently have been listening to a lot of like Shinhwa, TVXQ, SES, etc and this was so unexpected but really good timing. Also, TVXQ album coming soon! I think Riize is having a comeback in Jan.

There were complaints about MAMA this year again, and a lot of people chalked it up to artists, but also the stages MAMA puts effort into and doesn't are very obvious. Filming was a mess for half the show, rigging and cameras visible, shots not switching, barely any props or effort to have much setting. For the groups, I don't care about live vocals or not, because I prefer to see a really strong performance, but that being said, when you don't have to sing, leave everything else on the stage. ZB1 and &TEAM (also Xikers) I felt embodied that feeling, leave it all on stage, go hard, you have one or two songs, make it memorable. ATEEZ ofc crushed, Seventeen as high standard as usual. PS its funny about live vocals, the most live stage of the whole show was the collab with Yoshiki, I promise it is worth watching, impressive all around.
