BESIDES Baddie, I have to say, this is a good album and has a nice feeling to it. 

I do wish I AM was the title track, I think lyrically and sonically it would've been the perfect climax! Baddie would've worked after Kitsch for sure.

I also like the vocals more on this album and will definitely revisit some of these songs!

Listening to this album, Baddie really has no place sonically and conceptually in this project. I still like the track but its really random. The choreo and live stages feel low energy too. Not sure what they were thinking. If they had to pick a title track for this album, i feel like holy moly would've been a better choice. Your point about the lack of harmonies and adlibs is what i have a problem with a lot recent projects. Without those things, the songs feel boring especially when the production is so repetitive and empty. I listened to the triple S Evolution album recently and it was pretty good. I would recommend but i'm not sure if you'll give them another chance lol

Yeahh it's a VERY random title track. I like Holy Moly more too! Haha ermm yeah I am a lil curious but it has to be worth it though with triple S

IVE are really growing on me - this album not so much but I’m pleased with the direction they’re taking as artists. I always wish kpop would be braver when it comes to making these songs more dynamic but slowly slowly I suppose 😭Even so, I feel like they’re all improving so much vocally too? It’s so nice to hear. Do you have any plans to react to the G-idle and TXT album? There are a few songs on each I’d like to hear your thoughts on lol. As always, love hearing your thoughts :)

Lord, I really don’t wanna be that person commenting under a reaction requesting content from another group, but I’m gonna be that person commenting on a reaction requesting content from another group. I am dying for TXT and Xdinary Heroes. I just wanna see if you can make heads or tails of TXT’s album/direction and since you appreciated Xdinary’s vocals and that short killing voice I’m excited for you to listen to this album. Great stuff on both. I don’t usually mess with girl groups, especially IVE, but I always enjoy your reactions because you either echo my own thoughts or make me look at everything with a completely new perspective. Thank you!

Full disclaimer: the album is punk rock through and through. There are all the moods and punky rocker could go through, but it is punk rock. The title track is loud, it is probably my least favorite song on the album, even though I still enjoy it as it is a well produced song and an all-around well produced album. Pluto has a live performance that I love.

Either Way was the best result of them experimenting with new sounds on this album. But, problem for them, is I guess that sound is more suitable for B-sides and not titles. Though, its charting well in Korea, so who knows. Ditto also charted well for NewJeans, so perhaps the tide can change on that. But the Kpop industry seems to have a preconception that the slower type of music cannot perform well internationally

probably very unpopular opinion, but for me some of these songs I felt would have suited a different group better. Like 'either way' i really like the song, but the chorus, the way its sung, i felt was lacking... Kept imagining this being sung by Red velvet (feels like RV vibe to me) and i feel like it would have been better for me..

Apparently, Either Way, Baddie, and Off the Record are all title tracks. I hope Baddie does not outperform the others on the charts so they don't get the wrong idea about the direction they should take their sound. Also, Holy Moly felt like an evolution of Eleven. It would be interesting if they somehow develop that particular sound into something specific to them. The only voices I can for certain pick out in IVE are Leeseo, Yujin, and Rei. Usually, when there was something that I liked vocally, it was one of them delivering it.

I totally agree with your opinions on Baddie but nonetheless I really enjoyed either way kinda gave me Tumblr vibes lol love your reactions as always and hopefully you can react to IVE more In the future
