My favorite gg....I miss jiho tho. Between her and binnie/yubins voice, it was a perfect combo vocally as the spine of the song to allow for yooa's distinct timbre and hyojung and seunghees belting

Their entire catalogue is amazing....they figured out their thing and just became the best at it. While their popularity exploded with songs like dun dun, nonstop, and dolphin their older songs (imo) are far superior songs musically and lyrically

Yeah, they debuted in 2015 with 8 but one member immediately left so they were a 7 member group til 2022 when their contract ended. The current 6 re-signed and jiho left (if you ever watched their Queendom Destiny cover performance she was the blonde)

ok yes. why are boy groups not doing this??? agree 100% i love a good well done "cutesy", maybe a better word is bright, concept. One that i really appreciated recently is Yogurt shake performances by NCT Dream (people might disagree but just my own opinion).

I really hope to see you reacting to more of their stuff, I'm here for it! Regarding their past: I think the best way to say it is that they've never done anything with malice, it's just been ignorance. Every member is Korean and most of their fans are Korean, so they emulate things in Korean culture that we would consider problematic but to them is just normal e.g. that dumb Curry song. I'm not excusing it, just giving context I guess It doesn't help that international fans fall over themselves to point fingers, e.g. YooA's solo debut twitter posts got ratioed for being "racist" when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's now constantly mentioned as one of the best solo debuts!
