Soooo LO and Behold. I DIDN'T HATE IT!

I'm enjoying their direction their headed. However I do feel they're in need of stronger vocals even though I don't hear great potential from their vocal line to give me the kind of strength I'd like to hear.

Hopefully they surprise me in the future AND maintain a sound within this family because it allows them to show more individuality than generic bg noise.

Enjoy!

For koong I liked your idea about the opera house but I was also thing about like scary clown theme in a clown or circus tent where everyone and a different persona under that theme!

Koko3op

Yes exactly! This is what I meant by fairground/whimsical! Glad you hear it too

I think maybe one of the contributions to the lack of vocal strength in the album is that junghoon, one of their main vocals, is currently on hiatus because of a knee injury. I also dont mind the lack of traditionally strong vocals personally because the tone and style feels very youthful and pop punk in the sense that it isn't perfect and is more unique and out there. But i know KQ loves to change up a concept so I'm hopeful they'll be pushed to grow and expand in the future since they're such a young team. overall though i think their performance and charisma ability is great for a rookie group and look forward to seeing what they do in the future - especially once they're a complete team again!

I’ve just realized this after watching some of their performances for some of their songs and that is KQ groups’ songs are meant to be watched, imo. This is a weird statement but I realized that some of Ateez’s songs grew on me after watching their performances like Outlaw, The Ring, Hala Hala, New world and Cyberpunk (I highly recommend you to watch this) and this happened also with Homeboy, I didn’t like it at first but after watching their performance somehow it grew on me. I don’t know if this is true also for other groups and so it’s nothing special but for KQ groups seems to be the case. The company is trying to establish itself as a company with groups focus on performances, I mean it’s understandable this kind approach for a small company after realizing that money from albums, merchs etc. are nothing compared to money from concerts. So I think they are currently balancing their vocals, which is their weak point, by having songs focused on performances. Hope though they improve on vocals, but after trying to understand this group more by watching some of their contents from the pre debut era they already improve a lot. Thank you and see you on your next video. 🤗

I give the whole album a 5/10. I did enjoy homeboy but overall not my type of music. I'm a vocals person and this type of style does not work for me.

I know this isn’t related to the album review, but new jeans ETA and Cool with you bts recording is out + Dani went on LeeMujinService! Would love for you to check them out when you can :)

ojay .

Has anyone ever recommended TAN? Because basically every title track except LOUD For me has been unique, good and enjoyable for a long time. Maybe check them out if you ever have the time left. :D

OMG someone also knows TAN! I agree every title song is solid, LOUD just feels like an outlier in their discography. I think their dancing/choreography and vocals are great.
