WELL! This was an interesting experience. One thing about me, I'm always going to keep it real and authentic, I have no choice. 

I MUCH preferred the second half of the comments for the same reasons why the first half frustrated me as a viewer. The band coming in and giving the songs new energy was sooo much more stimulating and exciting for me. 

Major props to them still for pulling it off the 3 of them. Juice is kinda growing on me and I do wish it was the title track now simply because the choreo is SO strong and the production is more impactful. 

My favourite performance really was a surprise, wonder if you can guess! Essentially Shinee World IV remains undefeated! Sweet Misery is also growing on me!

Not the band gaslighting and key needing to get on zoom, I'M CACKLING. I hadn't watched the beyond live too so I got to watch it with you and I agree with your points about live vocals or using live band to keep the audience engaged. Your point about beyonce kinda gave me an epiphany because i went to the concert too and I've only just realised I could only remember the band utilised during cuff it O_O Also, you mentioned about which songs they choose to lip sync and I've noticed in a few concerts, they tend to lip sync a lot of the new songs they've just released like during the shinee world tour in 2015 they lip synced view and then 2016 or whichever year they did the same for 1 of 1 but idk. This was fun but yeah I wish they used the band throughout the concert like Taeyeon does. I'm proud of them though because it must've been nerve wracking and difficult to perform a 3 day concert without your two strongest vocalists (not to downplay their talents but still).

The band really gaslit me!! LSDFGASUIG Key does! EXACTLY, most of the songs for renaissance didn't sound like. Comparing it to beyonce experience/formation and of course homecoming you notice it even more. Oooo that makes sense regarding the lip syncing. Yeah they really managed to do it well!

Didn't they also release the beyond live prior to the album? Probably wanted people to get excited about the album with the performance and then next time when everyone knows the songs they do them live? I really liked what they did with hitchhiking with keeping the original vocals. If the goal is to be as close to before as possible I think that's their best choice. If not I wish they'd just do their own thing. Like in their comeback show when they did Sherlock. Live band and live vocals (with some original vocals mixed in). Performing a concert together after 5 years with everyone being on hiatus for 2y each, without their main vocalists, Key being semi-injured, Taemin being recently back from military and health problems, having to suddenly change things last minute because of Onew's health etc. Honestly I'm amazed and so proud of them for pulling through and making it as great as it was. I do hope for next time that they don't put so much pressure on themselves for everything to be so perfect. I'd rather wait longer for them to rest, practice, heal and get quality than rushing to keep up with the current trend of constant releases.

You know shinee so well:) that you know what's missing or whatnot. But well, as key said in one of their lives, time and budget is always the issue. They make do with what they can to make it real good for shawols. Quality work even if all members are busy. Taemin just came back too at the start of the year.
