Erm the judges were doing TOOO much to humble Jay's team in my humble opinion, thank God for the on site evaluations, had them looking like fools lol.

Though I do commend all the groups for taking more risks here except the balladeers, the big guy needs to be a soloists NOW, I don't think any performance here was stronger than the trio's from the previous week.

I'm falling in love with Donghun more and more each day, what a man.

I have some words as well because Mily-up didn't even really sing and this is a singing show, I could understand if we are making an idol type of group where getting the energy from the crowd would matter but where the singing and then jays team scoring the lowest was because they went first.

I never understood why the judges scored low for performances going first. Shouldn't good judges be able to judge fairly despite the order? I don't get why they can't manage to do it. Regardless, I think MNET just wants to create drama and give Jay's team a redemption arc for the next ep. Apparently the ratings are tanking, so they must be trying to keep people voting to save their favs.

Does anyone know how they’re going to choose who debuts? Are they going to pick 4 people from different units or only one unit as a whole can debut? My picks are Je Up, Donghun, Seunghun and Jay so I’m worried how this works

I hope I'm wrong, but from what mnet is posting now it seems like the teams are fixed, and we are only able to vote for one of the current teams pre final, which is insane if true bc I have not seen a single person lineup being one of the current teams??, also jay and jeup literally could not end up in a team together bc of the stupid top tier rule. I don't understand why mnet doesn't want the strongest contestants in the same group😭 my picks also include jay, donghun and jeup:(

I agree milky up performance is fun but vocally, pretty meh. Woodz performance with jays team I do agree lack a lot of harmonization and interesting vocal layers. They mostly sing all together with highlight moments for some ppl like Jay and some added reverb vocals near the end. At this point, with everyone being so good, I think belting big notes alone is not enough. The bonus points goes into creative arrangements and interesting blends and harmonies and really use the full advantage of a group. The part the clipped out during critics, i think the judges can tell bitseon was going to harmonize but trailed off into the same melody as the base harmony. To us, it sounded fine bc it just sounded like a simple echoing layer but I think the jduge can tell. I think that’s what they meant by being a group and unity. I don’t feel like they made the most of the group. As a competition goes on, you kinda have to compare in more details. The vocal details are so much more complex in Guilty’s arrangement than Woodz’ team. Compare to the other performances, Jays group is about 3rd for me after Guilty and drama though. It’s still a VERY great performance. The expectations for them are jsut really high bc of the talents they have on their team. I get the judges comments for sure but the score is still too low. THAT SAID, it’s definitely should not ahve scored lower than Milky up…. Tf. I get it if the audience vote like that but the judges too? I was so excited for them to do Bruno Mars songs in this competition and i was so let down…. Yes it’s a fun performance bc it’s a fun song but the music itself really did all the work. This is just a pretty good cover. Bruno mars is such a brilliant male vocalist. He can get the crowd dancing but he also doesn’t neglect vocals. The boys were cute and fun but honestly I did not think the judges would score them more than Jays team. It does feel shady af.

The Gift team,I’m obsessed with Gwang Seok voice. It really took off in the end when his voice exploded. It sounded so good but the problem is I didn’t need the other two. Like the one with the super loud voice, his melody sensibility felt off a little bit. The guy next to Gwang Seok and Gwang Seok made the song for me. May be the one on the other end for energy. If it’s jsut the 2 (or 3) of them, I think it would make the song better…. And I mean I think that’s a problem when the competition is this stiff

They've changed the weighting of the votes I read somewhere, so Jay's team has less of an advantage. I guess it's good for Partners but they're clearly trying to handicap Jay's team because his fanbase is huge. But maybe they'll change the voting system again for the finals, not too sure. Jay's team is definitely my pick. But both Jay and Bitsaon have bigger international followings so I don't know if Mnet wants them to win.

gwang seok is a star, id definitely tune in if he releases solo music! tbh none of the performances left me gobsmacked, your right, the trio performances were definitely stronger. idk why they think performances showing off vocals would be boring for a live audience and therefore we need dancing.. !! anyway for the next episode, if your stream cuts out the English subs it’s mnets fault, I was watching the livestream and the subs cut out for like 10mins 😭
