So I had a ton of technical difficulties yesterday, for this video, my mic was muted so you can only hear from my phone mic which thank God I have as a back up but unfortunately SOME of my commentary will be a little unclear which is shame but anyway.

BANGTAN BOYS Had me IN MY FEELINGS. The nostalgia, excellence, star quality, professionalism, set list proved WHY they got to where they got to where they got to. My only gripe is the flow of the setlist felt a bit abrupt but it was a short concert and they had to squeeze everything in so it makes a lot of sense but maybe Blue&grey should've been a VCR or with super dark lighting for contrast but either way it wasn't that bad.

The fact I guessed the setlist TWICE though?!?! DON'T DOUBT MY ARMY HEART. I may have many groups in my heart but I have a UNIQUE bond and relationship with BTS that I don't with other groups that feels super personal because without them I may not have gotten into K-POP the way I did.

In other news, JUNGKOOK OWNED THIS CONCERT. I feel like this is the first time I've genuinely SEEN him. I've always appreciated and enjoyed him but my GOD he was so attractive, powerful and magnetic here. He also looked like he was having more fun whereas he was more serious/perfect before this felt more free.

The styling and lighting was EXACTLY what you'd want from a group of their stature. Very much looking forward to checking out their previous concerts!

ENJOY, COS I DID. I nearly cried TWICE.

I BET You can't guess my favourite performances?? Cos I certainly wouldn't have thought it myself.

I'm gonna sling shot back so the setlist is more different though then come back forward.

You should watch Yoongi's version of Life goes on live from his concert. I think he wrote it when they were making the album, (when parts of the chorus were already written), but then "big hit" chose a different version for the Be album. The version on his album his voice is really processed, but the live version was performed differently with him playing the piano.

Irene

"without this song this channel wouldn't even exist" nooo micah !! why are trying to make me cry!!

Going to see BTS in a concert is definately on the bucket list! The energy they bring to their concerts is just on another level, you can really tell that they love what they do :) I would like to suggest SKZ for a next concert reaction, I think both the Maniac encore in Japan or the Dome Tour would be great.

i went to day 2 of this concert & it literally feels like a fever dream, it was so surreal😭 bts were the first kpop group i ever came across back in 2015 & this was my FIRST time seeing them, the nostalgia was absolutely insane i cried like 3 times LMAOO

There’s a certain magic i can’t explain to bts’ stage presence from every single member and group cohesion that i think is the reason for their success and why their story and success is so unique in an industry where hundreds of groups debut in a year. Like each member might not be the most skilled vocalist (their rappers and dancers are phenomenal so i’m not even going to go there) in the world but they don’t NEED to be, if that makes sense (i think people exaggerate when they say bts can’t sing bcs i think the vocal line are good singers and each of them have a distinct tone and style). For me there’s a lot of idols that have so much singing, dancing talent but give absolutely nothing when i watch them. Like i can acknowledge their skill, but if they don’t have the passion for their job and love for the music they make and perform i just can’t get pulled in. It’s one of the reasons why Jisung from NCT is one of my favorite idols, every fancam you see he LOVES and ENJOYS performing. I think all the members in BTS have that. There’s also some songs that are not my style from some groups, but if the group loves performing it i love watching them even if the song is not to my taste. Personally i like BTS’ music and even though a lot of people are of the opinion they fell of, i actually enjoyed Yet to Come, Life goes On, For Youth, etc. But even if there’s a song i don’t vibe with like Permission to Dance for example, I LOVE their performances of it and watching it in person is so magical. Performing and holding engaging concerts is a skill too i think.

omg i was at this show!! i've never seen the recording of it though so i can't wait to watch with you!

If I remember correctly this was around the time Jimin had recovered from Covid and appendix surgery from appendicitis.

Joe B

Need them back

h

always got a place in my heart for bts fr, they’re so special

I really enjoyed your reaction to this concert. Not to say that you never enjoy other groups, because you definitely do, but the excitement and emotion you had during this just hit different. I can't wait for their comeback because I will definitely be attending at least one of their concerts.

old face magenta 1994

i got to see bts live in chicago in 2019 and they are absolutely electrifying!!! even songs that i didn’t originally like are a million times better on stage. they’re a once in a lifetime group for sure

fi

I went to this concert and it genuinely changed my life! the free concert they did was in Busan and it was so so amazing, the setlist is different to this one and they showed so many good performances! you should definetly react to that as well because it was their last concert as a full group before they went off to the military (if i remember correctly)!

emma

watching any bts performance makes me miss them sooo much 🥲 can’t wait for their 2025 comeback

serena 🎧

2024-04-02 18:39:03 I was there for two out of four days of PTD LA and it literally changed my life. I didn't know it was possible to love them even more, but like you said, seeing them perform their old songs with the same energy, charisma, and personality as they did when they were just released, it makes you feel so overwhelmingly proud of them for everything they've accomplished. Truly I've never seen stars more deserving of what they have than them. I hope you get to go to one of their concerts soon!!! 🫶🏼

Regarding your comment about the “lack” of banter and camaraderie, in other concerts you can see them interact way more so I’m wondering if it’s missing here because they were aware/warned that this concert was gonna be use for the official recording

Amerie Marshall

Loved the reaction!! It's so nice to see your emotions for this group. Off-topic tho... Are you going to watch BTS In The Soop? I really recommend it cause you get to see their bromance and more. But only if you want to. :)

msathenas

i can't rec the yet to come in busan concert enough, truly think this is their best one yet and it's quite different from this one. if i had to do a top three it would be: i) 2022 yet to come in busan, ii) 2017 final wings tour concert in seoul, iii) 2016 HYYH epilogue concert

Yeah I was thinking this too, also it was the very first show back so there may have been some first howe jitters, I believe also Jimin had just recovered from surgery right, and V had talked about how his leg had not fully recovered by day 1s concert. But it seems they really push through because as the shows progressed it was so much chaos in the best way possible. I went to LA day 2, much more energy and Vegas day 3 and they were acting up and I loved every minute of it!

Jay Mèlanie

Great reaction, very similar sentiments, BTS was my introduction to KPOP as well. These men are so special, and the music they have given us has been so special as well. I was in LA for Day 2 and in Vegas for Day 3 and it was one of the most amazing concerts I had ever experienced. The energy in the Stadium was nuts and in Vegas the fellas that night were having a ball, and wildin' out in the best way! I cried during Black Swan, I was just in awe experiencing one of my favorite songs, & choreographies live.

Talia Letang

I would recommend Busan concert!! It was so delish I watched in the cinema. 12/10!!! And it was the free concert. I love BTS’s love for ARMY

Sometimes I forget how good looking BTS are😭

of course I knew abt bts and jk, but when I was watching stny for the first time I was like THAT IS BTS? I thought I knew him but I was not. I started watching bts because of him, realizing that I never really paid attention to them especially jungkook before. It was truly shocking experience to me! so I feel you a little bit. He is just too perfect, even before, but the way jk keeps on getting better and BETTER over the yrs?! that's so hot of him I really enjoyed your genuine reaction, totally made my day.
