Savannah knew she probably ought to be used to it by now - if she wasn't going to manage it by the time finals rolled around, then when? - but she simply wasn't, still fidgeting anxiously as she stared at herself in the mirror, adjusting the waistband of her jeans, tugging down her shirt. It was starting to get warm now, and she would have loved to throw on a crop top instead...

If she did that, however, and her jeans slid down, even a little, everyone would see her diaper, peeking out from under her pants. And, considering the way the study group, and particularly Felicity, had been dressing lately, she had a feeling most of the campus would recognize what that flash of plastic was, no matter how subtle.

To be fair, she supposed, there was a chance, minuscule as it was, that Felicity had changed her style since Savannah had seen her last. With finals, they hadn't been able to get together for a bit, so, theoretically, anything could have happened.

Would it have, though? It hadn't been the way they'd been going the last time they'd gotten together, for any of them. The more their grades improved, the more assignments Ms. Sophia had for them, until, as they all began getting straight A's, they also each had their own individual nap-time scheduled around their classes, and were all being sent back from study group with their own diaper bags full of coloring pages they had to finish up before the next meeting, and bottles or sippy cups filled with milk they had to drink for breakfast every morning, dolls to keep with them at all times for a set amount of time, and new, increasingly childish, outfits they had to wear for at least one day between sessions.

Savannah always felt like she got the worst of that, as silly as that was to say. Felicity was happy to overachieve, to find ways of making her assigned clothes more immature looking, but that was because she loved the attention it got her, as did her boyfriend. Kaydence didn't seem to mind too much; Savannah, on the other hand, was horrified every time, despite being given the least infantile, least revealing, outfits of the three of them. She was positive everyone was constantly staring at her, whispering about her, even when she was next to the other two, who were so much more obviously diapered.

But, weird as it all was... It worked. She was glad to discover, after walking down to the coffee shop they'd agreed to meet at, that Felicity and Kaydence were just as shocked about that as she was.

"I definitely hoped it would," Kaydence said, sipping her coffee. "I didn't quite expect this, though, obviously..."

Whether she meant the degree to which it had helped, or what she was wearing, was hard to say. It wasn't an official study session, so they could wear whatever they liked, and Savannah was almost a bit smug to see Kaydence, intentionally or not, had chosen something very close to Savannah's usual uniform... Not that Savannah had any hand in picking that out, or ever felt particularly proud of it when she had to wear it. Kaydence was in a pair of shortalls, similar to Savannah's, down to the snaps on the crotch, with a childish t-shirt underneath, and a pair of bright pink Velcro sneakers.

"I know!" Felicity exclaimed, bouncing in her seat. "Isn't it great? Everything is so much better this way!"

"I don't know about everything..." Savannah eyed her skeptically. She had, indeed, not gone back to a more mature fashion sense, even to the same point as Kaydence, who had, at best, added a few years to the age level of her wardrobe. Felicity had, if anything, gone backwards, matching her outfit to that of her doll. She had been the only one to go above and beyond with that assignment, carrying the doll with her from the time Ms. Sophia had given it to her until now. She'd even gotten it its own chair at their table at the coffee shop, complete with a booster seat.

And they made quite the pair in their tiny, pink dresses, covered in lace and bows, the hem ending well short of covering their bulky diapers, which were at least hidden by matching diaper covers, rows of frills across the seats, not that there was any doubt what either had underneath. The whole ensemble was topped off with a baby bonnet and a pair of shiny, pink Mary Janes.

How Felicity had managed to get, or keep, her boyfriend, Savannah had no idea. Any time she considered getting back with Flinn, or trying to catch the eye of anyone else, she imagined him seeing her dolly in her backpack, or her taking him back to her room at night when she'd forgotten to completely close her underwear drawer - not that he wouldn't have soon discovered her padding anyway, in that scenario, since she, by now, had little choice other than to wear it all the time if she didn't want to leak all over herself - and she couldn't go through with it.

She supposed she could, or should, have taken heart in the fact that none of that stuff bothered Felicity's boyfriend, meaning she might be able to find a guy who felt the same... When it was Felicity, nobody seemed to mind. Her fan club only grew, with a few of the girls who always followed her around even being there in the coffee shop, watching and whispering from another table, practically swooning every time the girl picked up her mug of hot chocolate, with so much whipped cream and marshmallows there barely appeared to be any room for liquid in the cup, with both hands and took a sip, coming away with a streak of white on her nose that Kaydence automatically leaned over to wipe off.

Maybe it would be like that for her, too, if she were more daring... Maybe she could feel like she was popular again, instead of having to hide from all her old friends, terrified of what they'd say if they spotted her now, with her naptimes, and diaper changes, and coloring books...

"Oh, hey!" Kaydence waved, Savannah flinching as she saw a couple of the other girls' friends walk in, eyes darting around the coffee shop, hoping to see an empty table they could take, but the place was pretty full, largely, it seemed, of other groups of friends, doing the same thing they were, getting ready to say goodbye, to discuss what they were going to do after graduation, or simply catching up before summer began. She could hardly begrudge the invitation Kaydence extended them, although she was grateful when Savannah and Kaydence slid their chairs in on either side of her, keeping her from having to sit right beside somebody else and fretting over whether they could hear the crinkling of her diaper over the chatter of the coffee shop.

As always, Savannah expected some mockery, or staring at the very least, but the girls' friends just chatted, paying no attention at all to what the three were wearing, or how Felicity, in particular, was acting, trying to feed her doll from its little plastic bottle. Savannah was taken by surprise when one of them said, "Man, I'm jealous of you three."

"Of us?" Savannah blinked, squirming in her seat, wondering if she'd misunderstood, if there was another trio being referred to.

"Well, yeah," they shrugged. "I wish I could have gotten my grades up as easily as you did."

"You've still got another year, don't you?" Kaydence asked. "If you want to know our secret, I..."

"No!" Savannah snapped, blushing as everyone's eyes turned towards her. "I-I don't know if it's worth it..."

"Really?" Kaydence tilted her head.

Savannah nibbled her lip uncertainly. It definitely felt like the answer should be no... But her grades had never been this high, ever, and her parents had been so happy about that, and she hadn't had to stress over her tests in months now, always able to just trust she'd do well, which she had, no matter how little it had felt like she'd actually studied for them. Instead, she'd had to stress over her diapers, over having to go to Kaydence for changes, over what would happen if anyone on campus saw her with Felicity and made the connection between her, and the bulge Savannah worked so hard to hide beneath her own clothes...

Had she needed to do that, though, in the end? Felicity hadn't... Kaydence had never seemed to do so too consciously, not like Savannah, she simply didn't flaunt it in the same way Felicity did. And they clearly still had friends, people willing to be seen in public with them... If Savannah hadn't been so worried about what the cool kids thought of her, would that be true of her, too?

"I-I..." she stammered, not knowing what to say. "I-I mean, I...."

She was almost grateful to feel the sudden lurch in her tummy, one she'd gotten quite used to by now. She let out a tiny squeak, muscles tensing as she felt the warm mush begin to slip out into her diaper. There was no doubt in her mind Kaydence knew what was happening, having seen it so often, and the giggle Felicity gave made Savannah certain she did as well, but she hoped the rest of the table didn't, as Kaydence helpfully took over for her, seeing she was going to be out of the conversation for a moment, too busy grunting into her almost empty coffee cup to hide her red face as much as possible to speak.

"It isn't for everyone," Kaydence said, "but it really can work wonders."

Savannah blushed and fidgeted, the mass continuing to ooze out of her. She knew what Kaydence was saying was true, especially in regards to her grades, though it was hard to agree with the sentiment when she was in this middle of... this.

"Hey," Felicity told her, putting a hand over Savannah's comfortingly. "It's all right," she whispered. "I'm sure I need a change, too!" Without a care in the world, she tugged down her diaper cover, sliding her hand over the crinkly plastic. "Wait, I don't?" she frowned, looking genuinely confused, squeezing a little harder. "Oh, there it is!"

"You two," Kaydence smirked, shaking her head. "Come on, let's see what the damage is."

Felicity obediently hopped off her chair and trotted over to Kaydence, lifting the hem of her dress, right in the middle of the coffee shop proudly, while Kay slid her diaper cover back down. "That's not so bad," Kaydence smiled. "What about you, Savannah?"

Savannah groaned, only to have Kaydence grab her by the hand and haul her up out of her seat anyway, unbuttoning her jeans, pulling them down just enough to show off her lumpy diaper. Savannah's face turned bright red, knowing that everyone could see her now, saw that she was an even bigger baby than Felicity, despite all outward appearances, positive they were all going to laugh at her...

And there were, indeed, some chuckles, but they didn't sound hurtful, or mean, at all. They were bemused, if anything, accompanies by whispers of how cute the two were. She hated to admit it, however... That did feel nice.

"Study sessions can get pretty intense," Kaydence quipped, giving the rear of Savannah's diaper a pat. "We know how to handle it, though, don't we, girls?"

Felicity bobbed her head instantly, Savannah following suit shortly, while Kaydence tugged her jeans back up, buttoned them over her diaper. "In fact, we have one last one to get to... Well, mostly just to say thank you to our teacher. If anyone wants to come along and have us introduce them..."

After what they'd seen a moment earlier, Savannah was shocked to see several of the younger students volunteering. She was even more shocked when Kaydence ushered them all out the door, Savannah staying towards the back of the group, and another girl slid in beside her.

"Hey," the girl smiled at her. "You're Savannah, right?"

Savannah nodded, glancing over at her, feeling a sudden extra helping of self consciousness, taking in how pretty the girl was, how cool she seemed. "Y-You're... Mikayla, right?" she searched her memory. "Aren't you a senior? You don't need a study group! E-Especially not..." Her cheeks darkened, trying to imagine Mikayla in her position, finding it utterly impossible.

"I don't," Mikayla giggled. "I just saw how nervous you were, and I thought I'd come keep you company."

Savannah felt something she hadn't in a long time - and never for another girl - as Mikayla's hand drifted through the space between them, brushing over top of Savannah's own. "Y-You don't mind being seen in public with me?" she asked quietly. "E-Even after..?"

Mikayla closed her hand around Savannah's, gave it a squeeze. "Not at all," she told her.

There was a fuzziness in Savannah's tummy, one that she couldn't quite decide on the meaning of. Did she have a crush on Mikayla already? Or was she looking up to her as a grown-up, something she had been pretending to be for months now, yet hadn't really felt like since this had all begun? Was that desire welling up in her because she wanted to sleep with her, or invite her to change her diaper, tuck her in for a nap? Did she want Mikayla to be her girlfriend, or her Mommy?

She couldn't say for sure right now, as she stepped in a little closer to the other girl, a sense of safety and warmth overwhelming her. All she knew with any certainty was that, in the end, maybe the study group had been good for something more than grades after all.

You seem to be nearing a good end with some new playmates being added to the study group and Savannah graduating with a good mommy to take care of her!
