Viktor, stop whining and get busy

So guys, I have seen your voting results. 

And what I have to say, thanks all of you for extensive debating of pirating theme. 

I have taken many important things

Pirating is overwhelmed problem, especially in the Adult game dev. So I don’t plan to spend much time for it. 

Probably I will add some kind of «protection», but it’s not the main thing which should be done.

I’m going to focus my resources on community building and keep dev process as well. 

So if someone wants to play pirated game, it’s up to them. If someone wants to support me after this, it’s amazing. 


LWRP

I’m always looking for improvements, so one of the most important things for me, is balance between quality and the game performance.

Few months ago, I made the HDRP experience app «The Big reward». In case you missed it, check this post:

Today I want talk about LWRP (Light weight render pipeline), with which I played last week.

LWRP is made for mobile platforms at first, but it doesn’t mean it’s about bad graphic

LWRP makes possible to have Realtime global Illumination, good quality rendering and keeps good performance

It seems it makes LWRP to be a good solution for me to have better visuals with the same FPS rate. But there are some problems with shading of transparent materials (Hair for example), which should be fixed to use LWRP in production line.

The result of my experiments is the new demo with Torus and Barbarian

0.7 release plan.

What I’m going to add in 0.7.

I want to finish the Torusus branch of story, the web build is related to it.

Also I want to add some content to Letel and Torus dimensions as well, because it’s important to weld the storyline.

The Last Dimension is Time dimension

This is the place where we can fight against the Goddess of the Flesh, and this is one of true endings of the game. 

It doesn’t mean that upcoming release is the last one. No. 

There is a lot of stuff which will be added in the near future.  

About the Time dimension. I want to make this level procedurally generated, cause it’s the dimension of time and it can’t be linear.


Game polishing plans.

To bring TLB game to final production quality, I need to make the following changes in the near future.

  1. Voices. I plan to hire Voice actors to get voices for cutscenes and dialogues
  2. SFX should be fixed and reworked.
  3. All of game cameras will be standardized
  4. Fixing all of fighting features.
  5. A lot of small bugs and issues must be fixed

Well, there is so much work that has to be done, so I continue my development.
