Still trying to work out exactly what I want to do in the Crime Club story game thing. I keep wanting to go back to my point and click adventure roots (30 years later) and see the characters walking around the environment. Even though it's heaps more work. So yesterday I spend some time experimenting with sizes and bits in Construct 3 and I think I may have something I'm happy with.

This  is all placeholder art to get a feel  for how big things should be on screen. Also I worked out a nice simple method of getting a smooth camera to follow Nancy around. I'll show you that in a video when I rework the background. There's too much vertical in this one that you're never going to see so I'm going to build it out more horizontally so you can see the parallax effect better.
