Looking ahead to Birthday Quick Fics in 2024 (Patreon)

The response to the last post was 100% positive and enthusiastic about the idea, so I can confirm that I'm going to go ahead with Birthday Quick Fics for 2024. Technically the process will start before the end of 2023, because a poll for at least part of January will need to be done by January 1st at the latest (naturally, since there are several January 1st birthdays that could potentially win a poll to be written.)

I'm going to commit to writing at least 4 of these per month, with the potential for more if time allows and there if sufficient interest. For each month, I will pick out one name to write a quick fic for, and the other three guaranteed entries will be determined via poll. In a month where I'm able to fit every option into a single poll, that would simply be the top three vote-getters. But it wont be that simple every month, because of Patreon poll limitations.

As I was going through and building lists for each month, I remembered that Patreon polls don't let you go above 20 options per poll. Some of the months already have more than 20 names jotted down, and I assume I'll probably be adding some more to the list after I hear from you guys too, so that number could grow. My thought is that, for months with 20+ options, I'll split them into two polls, attempting to cut them roughly in half by date and number of options included in each. In months where I have to split things up this way, the winners of both polls would obviously get written, and at least one runner-up would be included too. I would do my best to try and write the first runner up in both polls in this situation, but that would be time permitting.

Let me know if you have any questions, if any of this doesn't make sense, etc. I am linking a complete list of every name I've assembled so far, and I encourage you to point out any mistakes and also make any suggestions or requests you have if there are fandoms or characters you'd like to see included. I can't squeeze in everything, but I'll do my best to be accommodating here if it's something I think I can pull off. 

Remember that the character has to have an actual canon birthday to be included here. If you want to suggest a certain character or fandom that's not on the list, try doing a quick google search for their birthday and see if anything comes up. If you find a wikia for the fandom and the characters don't have birth dates mentioned on their pages, there's a pretty good chance they just never had birth dates established. In general, it feels like Japanese works give birth dates to their characters more frequently than Western stuff does, at least from what I've seen as I've looked into games and series that I am familiar with as I've prepared this.
