Interesting story: I was finishing up my bachelor capstone and was talking to a girl who was researching Youtube's way of monitoring and deleting videos. She described how they outsourced to people in the Phillipines who were all working out of a warehouse staring at content for hours. Going through some actually terrible stuff to make for deletion. I don't know if that's the same thing they do today but I found it interesting how forcing poor people in other countries to bear the brunt of their method of luring in big names to the platform.

YT policies today remind me of some childhood drama; my brother and I got punished for something we absolutely did NOT do. I tried to argue with my mom and convince her we didn't do anything wrong. She just told me I was right but I still needed to shut my pie hole. ànd I was still punished. ànd I needed to apologise if I wanted to leave the time-out corner. My brother got tired of it after 10 minutes, apologised and the traitor went out to play again. For those who know me, needless to say; I spend a looong time in that corner. Mom let me out eventually, just before child services wanted to start looking for me. Today I still wonder who was the idiot, my sibling or me?

Styx was smart and never counted on YouTube for income opting to be independent from the start. Plus low production costs help. He was able to move to Holland so I assume he is making a decent living. And remember always share archived links to deprive the vultures thier clicks!
