Hey Deadbug. Even though I come off as a miserable fuck, I'm a fan. been listening to your woes, a lot of YTers have claimed the same. It may not be a place where money is literally made, but it can be used as a platform where money can be made elsewhere. You've put a lot of time in and should see some kind of return on your work. ComicbookGirl19 used YT as a loss leader, in other words, attracted an audience to do a book club where she charged people $40 to read a book with her and chat about it afterwards. Seems silly, but apparently it paid for a year of operation. The Video Game Nerd made a Kickstarter where he made a movie. Again, not saying these are specific solutions, but maybe you can have your audience fund a feature-length documentary and use your considerable catalog for some of the assets. I did a project myself where I created 8 fifteen minute videos which I gave out for free, then had my audience fund a DVD which was 1hr of the best stuff, with new editing and narration. The original shorts were added as bonus features and everyone was satisfied with the result. You have a lot of integrity, and I think it'd be obvious to everyone what you were doing and why it's necessary to continue. Anyway, just some ideas.
