Hi guys, 

I've had a few messages regarding the status of my mods and the latest patch. It looks like some borking occurred with the new Journey to Batuu patch update, and the tuning is preventing Sims from actually going to work! Many of my careers were made with Neia's tool, and as soon as she updates it, I'll do my usual and release everything in a big zip for you guys, plus individually. 

Side note: Thank you for sticking with me; I know I've been quiet recently, but your support never goes unnoticed. I have been really struggling, and find it difficult to talk about so I've just been hiding my head in the sand. I will update everything and get some new content out to you as soon as possible, I promise! 

Side note 2: Do you like Journey to Batuu? It's the first pack I haven't purchased, and I LOVE Star Wars. However, if I want to play Star Wars, I'll buy a Star Wars game. It seems weird having it in the Sims. Is it kind of like visiting Disneyland Sim-style, or does it feel forced? Let me know what you think!

I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time, and I sincerely hope things get better for you soon ❤ There's both good and bad about the new pack. I love the build/buy stuff, and the clothes too. I'm also having fun with creating a character in the star wars universe! I don't know that it really fits in with the rest of the worlds we have, and there are some annoying things (can't edit Batuu at all, it counts as a destination world, the "aliens" are just costumes not actual expansions to the in game aliens) but I'm sure modders will fix a lot of it. Personally, it was worth buying just for the visual content! The story can also be fun as well. But it could also wait for a sale, there's no rush to buy it now.

Hey girl! I bought the Star Wars pack, but haven’t really tried out the gameplay yet. I’ve been having fun building basements and a roof garden in the cantina though.

Hey! So in regards to the actual gameplay it’s super repetitive like I’m basically doing the same quests over and over to level up atm and I’m hoping as I level up I’ll get some different ones because otherwise it’s like 6 quests and that’s it per path (paths being resistance, first order, or scoundrels) happy to hear you’re getting back into it! Xx

Take your time doll! Thanks for the update :) As for Star Wars.....there are a few items I will use in Build/Buy and CAS but otherwise I want a refund :( Been playing 20 years and never been so WTF about a pack before.....lol

Love your work! And I definitely won't be purchasing the star wars pack. First pack in the sims 4 I won't own! I wanted to have the whole collection, but I just can't get on board with this money grab from EA

I hope things get better soon. I'm right there with you on having Star Wars be the first pack I haven't bought. I'm not ruling out buying it, but usually I pre-order so this is quite a change.

Sending good vibes!! As for Star Wars...it really depends on just how much you hold to Star Wars canon. I can't get on board with making a lightsaber when you're not a Jedi or Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers behaving like Sims. It really breaks the immersion for me. I haven't bought it, but I have been watching James Turner's LP and the whole pack just doesn't sit well with me. It feels forced and while the world is beautiful and some of the build/buy is very lovely, I just can't imagine buying it and ever using it. It will be the first Sims4 pack I don't buy.

I've been having a lot of fun with the new pack. I've had a chance to finally use a good portion of the sci-fi CC that has been languishing in my mods folder. I've built two underground additions so far, one to the cantina and one to the Rebel outpost and I've had fun with the missions. I made it work with my particular style of game play just as I have done with every other pack.

Hope you feel better soon. And no... I am not buying the Star Wars mod. I mean, who asked for that?! Instead, they should have given us a real World adventure with actual gameplay instead of rabbit holes!

I have really been enjoying the new pack. Besides the beautiful b/b (which has so many objects), it's really fun in a theme park type of way. I don't enjoy that the majority of lots are rabbit holes, but I am finding the rest of it great.

Having been to Disney World, I will say that the new pack feels very, very much like hanging out in Galaxy's Edge/the Star Wars part of the theme park. Even the 'missions' feel like something you can do with Disney's mobile app (they created a mobile game specifically to give you something to do while you wait in line). I wish they had leaned into the theme park a bit more, honestly. They tried to make it seem like it was a Star Wars fantasy/sci fi pack and I think that was a big mistake in marketing.
