In this episode featuring Chad Robichaux, a former Force Recon Marine and JSOC Operator, we delve into his upbringing, marked by the loss of his brother while they both shared a commitment to serve in the Marines. Chad Robichaux's childhood was marked by hardship, including the loss of his brother and a difficult family dynamic to include his physically abusive father, a Vietnam veteran. Chad shares his journey from serving in the Marine Corps, becoming a Force Recon Marine, to operating at the forefront with JSOC, where he was part of an elite Taskforce alongside Delta Force and SEAL Team 6. Operating primarily with DEVGRU operators, Chad recounts a pivotal moment where he and his counterpart Aziz saved four of them during a rescue mission. Throughout his time at JSOC, Chad reflects on the numerous occasions Aziz saved his life and guided him through diverse environments.
Chad vividly remembers being abducted by a foreign intelligence agency and enduring interrogation, facing the real possibility of death. This traumatic event propelled Chad towards leaving the service, his family, and pursuing a career in MMA. However, he later found solace in reconnecting with his family and embracing his faith.
Since then, Chad has accomplished remarkable feats through his foundation, Might Oaks, and another nonprofit, Save Our Allies. From facilitating the rescue of over 17,000 Afghans during the withdrawal to providing aid and saving lives in Ukraine, Chad continues to make a profound impact.
