TD Universe Religion Discussion & Poll (Patreon)

So, as has been mentioned before, there is going to be a Nun and Priest character who have barricaded themselves inside a small town church in the north side of Ashton Lake. I'm unsure which version you'll encounter them at exactly, but what's a more interesting decision, is what religion they should be practicing at this place of worship?

As you can imagine, I don't envision the world of TD as a particularly religious one, so it would probably only be a small minority that subscribe to a particular faith with any real conviction. While I had simply envisioned Tiffany's country as a primarily christian one (it is a fantasy, Americanized, country after all), since this is an alternative Earth with different rules and standards to our own, there's not real reason why we couldn't have some fun with this concept instead.

In addition to discussing the social importance of fertility and procreation in this alternative world, we'd discussed the idea of inventing a new, fertility based religion on the discord some time ago, but I figured I'd open the floor up to you guys here to further discuss and flesh out your ideas on how such a church could operate.

For a bit of context, my basic idea with these characters is that the Nun character would be a virgin when Tiffany meets her (potentially wearing a chastity belt). So the idea is that whatever the religion may be, it still has tenants of celibacy for its order's inner circle. Whoever this Sister is, she happened to be temporarily staying at the town's local church as an envoy from the main sect when the infection broke out. The Priest is of course a local, older man attempting to coerce the young Sister into accepting his seed in an effort to begin repopulating the planet, based on his interpretation that these are the end times and call for drastic measures. Naively, she is simply concerned about whether the priest is interpreting the sacred texts correctly, but of course the Father is hardly a very religious man at all and just wants to impregnate the hot, busty virgin he's been trapped alone with for the last week and a half.

Tiffany would have role to play in deciding the outcome of these two characters of course, but that's a topic for another time...
