Hey guys,

I'm doing a couple a more "lore" based polls/discussion posts to help define the mindset of the people that inhabit the fictional and hyper-sexualized world that Terminal Desires takes place in. As with the other polls I've done that are similar to this, it's more about getting your guy's input/perspective on this topic rather than the winning result specifically changing anything. I will be posting a similar poll for male characters shortly after this post goes live (because I can only do one poll per post), but I guess it's probably better to keep the discussion contained to this one post if possible.

The topic for discussion is the mindset of pregnancy in this world. Obviously impregnation is one of the main fetishes in the game, but what do the characters themselves actually think about it? Do you think it's hotter if the vast majority of characters also have a desire or compulsion to breed/reproduce? Or would you prefer if it was closer to IRL where most of the time, people are trying avoid pregnancies? Perhaps the female characters feel differently to the male characters?

Of course, character preferences will still be handled on a case by case basis as I am designing them and their roles in the story. This is not to outright decide what every single character will want, just what the social norm/average is in this fictitious society.

Personally, I think it could be hot to further play into the impregnation fetish. I mean, I already have for the most part, but it's not necessarily clear if it's a normal thing in this world or if the girls/guys we've met so far just so happen to be a bunch of depraved perverts! ;)

Could be some interesting paths to explore. Perhaps there is a general global population shortage, which naturally encourages everyone to produce large families. High fertility is seen as an attractive trait along with everybody keeping an eye out for potential spouses who have desirable genetic traits/features. Maybe even a lot of government incentives/rebates for those doing their part to stimulate the population? Could help explain why no body seems to be bothering with condoms in this world if it's all about making babies. Of course, birth control and abortion pills exist as it's not compulsory, just strongly encouraged.

Idk yet, but it's fun to think about as I flesh the greater world of TD out some more.

Anyway, please vote in the polls and let me know your preferred take in the comments bellow. I'm curious to see how people think the people in the world of TD should behave in this regard.

Thanks for the support!

I like to think most female characters like to feel "filled" up... the initial sex is short lived but getting to be stretched out by the pregnancy is a longer ride. perhaps the feeling of birth is the ultimate pleasure? then they get to do it all again.

This is an interesting but plausible take. In my mind, perhaps the only thing holding most of the girls in this world back from already having had a couple of kids is the length of pregnancy interfering with their careers/lifestyles. Though once FWI perfects this serum, that won't be much of a problem any more.

I think the world of TD would crave for fertile female (and trying to impregnate the most fertile), it seems the logical path with the game "philosophy". But it could be interesting to see some new ideals. Like idk, the young generation (Vanessa for now) could be more "prude" about pregnancy (in a desire to not imitate the previous generations), until someone show them all the benefit (by fair means or foul) if you know what I mean ;)

I liked the idea that the condom was never invented in the TD universe. Would make for some comical situations, like we talked about the semen collection quest, and someone comes up with the "radical" new idea of collecting it in a latex sleeve.

I also think the idea of a "breeder" = high status, is great! Sexy milfs accentuating their bellies and being treated like clebs/royalty because of how easily they pop out offspring. How would you be able to tell that a woman is fertile tho? How do we know (without you telling us) that let's say Debra is a very fertile woman? Do they smell or what? This could work into many other things, like F.W.I. dumping stuff in the water making that happen etc.

Are you saying that it’s all about individual fertility rates? That women are all striving to become the most fertile and men are striving to make sure their seed is what knocks those special women up? Perhaps some kind of citizen ranking system that depends on certain factors with incentives that reward higher ranks? Anyway, I don’t necessarily think that it would be Vanessa’s generation that would experience that rebellious side of things since it’s still something they are trying to recover from. But there are still characters (like Vanessa) who aren’t really all that interested in having kids (though for reasons we’ll explore a bit later).

I think there could be something fun in playing with the idea that it was actually the previous generation, Debrah’s perhaps, that started taking early stage FWI pregnancy medication (contributing to the company’s massive rise) and had their bodies adapted as a result. Tiffany’s (or Officer Juggs’) generation of girls and all that followed were all born naturally bustier, psychologically sluttier and more desperate to be knocked up than the older generations before as a result of the medication.

Jimjim3dx

FYI Officer Juggs is in the same age bracket as Debrah (late 30s) But that’s beside the point. I think I do have an explanation for the differences in the women, but it’s not necessarily FWI’s doing. You do bring up one interesting concept though of the girls just naturally/instinctively wanting to be knocked up as opposed to it being the societal/generational response to a population crisis. It’s possible that these girls just can’t resist the allure of being bred.

I like the idea that becoming pregnant is a strong fetish the women would have to consciously ignore. Not necessarily a societal pressure, it's just the people of this world are really into it and often push that aspect of themselves to the side for professionalism.

Jimjim3dx

Right, and you have some characters (like Debra for instance) that wouldn’t want just anyone knocking them up, and would search for someone they consider a “worthy mate” with desirable/attractive genetics. There’s no way in hell she’d want to have a kid with someone like George or Jebadiah, but has no problems at all accepting Terry’s seed. Though I bring this topic up primarily so I can see if people are okay with the bulk of these characters that havIn this fetish, and perhaps having them bring it up more in casual conversation. Basically trying to see how big of a deal I can make it in this world without weirding players out. Especially since we’re about to introduce a bunch of new characters and need to figure out how many of them are looking to breed. Though these poll results are reassuring :)

I think i have a different idea, most females don't want to be impregnated and it currently shifts, humans are overall pretty equal while highly specialized in jobs and proffessions, some breeder woman are then highly fertile Queen Bee's able to crank babies out and Tiffany or some other test subjects might be one of the new Queens. There could be kinda multiple castes The company is just kinda forcing the shift maybe it's also the kind of stud she wants to be impregnated with, a brutish male might be a kind of guardian, futa new queen, hot stud, and queen means futa , medicore man a non breeder female and so on Zombie some kind of drone, that can be used for cheap labor ones they know how to control them. And while i call them queens they might be pretty submissive overall
