2.5K Patreon Goal Discussion & Poll (Patreon)

Hello everyone, 

This post has been a long time coming. Thanks to everyone's generous support, we surpassed another Patreon goal recently. We've hit it a few times before, but then quickly dipped under again, so that's why I was waiting for it to stabilize a little before going ahead and discussing some of the promised benefits of reaching this goal.

This one is kind of a two-parter. The first part of reaching this goal is to do with 2D commissions. They've been a bit less frequent lately as I've been using those funds for voice lines (as they were originally intended), but there are still some currently in the works and more to be started soon.

Which brings us to the poll in this post. I had one idea about potentially commissioning a couple of pieces from the same scene by the same artist, that I would then turn into sex scenes with the same limited animation style I use for the game. And then include those scenes in game as unlockable bonus sex scenes.

Would there be any interest in that? There are of course some downsides. For example, if I'm commissioning an entire scene, it would need to be at least 3-4 images instead of the normal 1. So with that same time/money to get the images for 1 sex scene, I could probably have gotten 3-4  standalone comms by other artists all featuring different girls/styles. Not to mention that I'd also have to spend a bit of extra development time to implement them, but that's not so bad by comparison to a regular scene seeing as I wouldn't have to make the images myself. And I suppose, if too many of you think it'd be weird in the first place to have 2D scenes in a 3D game (even just as bonuses) then it might not be worth the time, money & effort, and better to stick to standalone pieces to post here for fun as per usual. 

Idk, but if there is enough interest in it, we can give it a try at least and see if anything comes of it. So vote in the poll below to let me gauge interest for these potential 2D bonus sex scenes.

The second thing mentioned, was: "all patrons will get the chance to be selected at random to have a piece of content they would like to see added into the game [where possible]. (3 winners -  including 1 guaranteed winner from the Special Forces tier.)"

Now, how this will work is, in a few days time, I will be assigning all patrons from this month a number and use a random number generator to to pick 3 patrons (with 1 guaranteed to be from the $10 tier as stated). I will then message those 3 winners via Patreon to ask them what they would like to be added. 

Now, while I am quite open to most things (as most of you know) there will of course be some limitations on what can be added here and I can't guarantee that your number 1 idea would be possible to implement. This will be something that is discussed with the winners in detail depending on what their idea is. But in general, we're talking about something simple here. Like a small sex scene (between characters that make sense), quest, item, or even small feature if it's doable and fits in with my goals for the game. It will have to be discussed on a case by case basis. The simpler to implement the better. And also ideas that fit into the current upcoming versions would be easiest, but not entirely necessary. Basically try to keep your idea reasonable.

But if you do win, we'll have a proper conversation about it, so feel free to let me know what your number 1 idea is and we can scale it back from there or come up with something different if that doesn't work out. 

I will of course fill everybody in when the new additions have been decided and what version they will be added in an upcoming post.

If a winner doesn't respond within a reasonable time frame, can't come up with an idea that works, or decides to pass, then I will re-roll that number and contact the new winner. 

That's the idea anyway, we'll see how this goes in practice in a few days time... :)

Now, to give a quick update on some other things while I'm here, there are new TJ comic pages, DNA Valkyrie chapters almost ready. I've also been working on more voice line scripts to be recorded for Tiffany so you can expect to see some previews of that soon too (check the discord if you haven't already for a couple of samples). I would also love to do a podcast sometime soon, but being quarantined at home with my roommates all the time makes it difficult to find a time where it's all quiet and I won't be disturbed. 

Apart from all that, I'm taking a small break to work on some special Easter themed images. While I'm already posing the scene, there is still some more time for $5+ patrons to vote (or change their vote) on the girls and the potentially alter the outcome before tomorrow. It's not going to be too complex, but there will be around 6 images in total I think. I do have to be careful not to get too carried away though haha.

So expect those to start popping up here for everyone in the coming days, and have a Happy Easter weekend (if you celebrate) even if this year does kind of suck right now in terms of how you can celebrate...
