Updated 2019 Development Roadmap (Patreon)

Hey guys,

While I'm currently quite proud of how it eventually turned out, a lot went wrong with v0.05 in terms of scheduling and thus it kind of messed up the previous roadmap I did at the start of the year. Since that one is now outdated, I'm posting this updated one here for you to read about so know what's in store for most of the year. There's still a lot of characters and story I want to introduce before we get settled into the daily routine type of game play so some of these upcoming versions might be structured in a way that's a little different from the small injections of new areas/scenes that you are used to.

I wanted to do a podcast to better talk about these, but I'm giving my sore throat one more day to heal before I record anything. And I'm going to be talking about the $1500 Patreon goal quest submissions first, since (as you can see from this updated roadmap) I want to include the winner in v0.06!

So I will be posting a new poll for all patrons tomorrow to vote on the submission they'd most like to see. And I'll be accompanying it with a podcast where I can give my own thoughts on all of the submissions and explain how I would adapt or change parts of them If it won and I was to implement it.

One last thing you need to keep in mind before we jump in here, is that a lot of this is not set in stone. It's very likely that things will change, be delayed, or I'll think of a different way I want to do something, or a new character I'd like to do etc. For example. When I wrote the last roadmap, Debra wasn't a character I planned on at that stage. But I ultimately think her inclusion in v0.05 made it better. So sometimes things like that will change, either as I come up with new ideas or new ideas are suggested to me by you guys.

V0.06 (Medium update)

ETA: Mid – Late April 2019

Includes:

• An optional impregnation & imprisonment scene with Vanessa for Dr. Milburn’s side quest.
• A blowjob scene with Debra & Terry (Featuring Vanessa???). ;)
• New quest/event/sex scenes from the winner of the $1500 Patreon goal submissions! (Poll coming tomorrow for all patrons!)
• Some new town buildings and areas to explore.
• First part of a small side quest to help Hitomi/Dr. Milburn collect DNA samples for their research...
• New “Surrender” option for combat (“Submit” alternative for non-slut playthroughs).
• Making some old scenes repeatable (where it makes sense).
• Sex Scene Skipping.
• Toggle for “screen shake” effect.
• Stats page for pregnancy info.
• Other fixes & improvements...

My number one goal with v0.06 right now is to release it before the end of April & meet whatever ETA I end up setting for myself when the time comes. In my opinion, that's the number 1 problem right now. I really need to nail down my schedule for this one since I'm sick to death of always being late. I'll also be setting an internal release date and giving $10 patrons access to a beta version around 4-5 days before the full release. I intend for v0.06's beta to be far more polished that v0.05's alpha...

The main focus of this update, is to implement some more features (the surrender mode & some scene skipping), but primarily to focus on some scenes with some of the other girls since we won't be seeing them for a little while once you step inside the casino and head north in v0.07-v0.11.

Another main reason for a lack of scenes with Tiffany (eg, no new combat sex scenes) is that once Tiffany's body is modified at the end of v0.07, I will have to redo all of her CGs including her combat sex scene CGs so if I make more sex scenes now, that's just more work to redo them all later in v0.08+

So because of this, and the fact that a lot of the submissions featured the other girls, I figured it would be a good idea to include the $1500 goal submission winner here, in v0.06 instead of later like originally planned. Especially since by the time we get to the later versions, you'll have been introduced to a whole heap of new characters and you might have new ideas for submissions instead. So I think it works out better this way. This version will be the end of the day 2 side content.

V0.07 (Large update)

ETA: Mid – Late May 2019

Includes:

• 6 new human characters (Lara, a futa character & 4 men).
• The first part of the Casino story content.
• The end of Day 2.
• The changes to Tiffany’s base proportions & pregnancy length during the main story.
• New Zombie type (Female Zombie) with 1 combat sex scene.
• At least 3 new story sex scenes with the new characters (Will depend on Tiffany’s choices).
• Potentially more, depending on time...

Yes, this is the next big section of the main story. Obviously we need to progress the story if we want to progress the days and get to more pregnancy/birth content! So this version will be the first half of the casino story section. You'll be introduced to 6 new characters, including Lara here, who will be of course brought in line (proportions wise) with the other characters as you'd expect from a TD girl :)

And yes, I decided it's about time to create the female zombie enemy. There should be a lot of female zombies running around. They don't all become futas. So I really want to add them just for consistency's sake. They will be basically the same as the male zombies in terms of gameplay, just with a nicer body (something like the Futa Zombie minus the penis ofc) & lesbian combat sex scenes upon defeat/submission.

I'm unsure how long it will take me to create these new characters, so if I turn out to be underestimating myself (unlikely) than I may be able to get some extra content in this version as well, and if so I'll make sure to ask you guys about it in a poll for $5+ Patrons.

Also, the casino map is going to be quite large and probably involve a new gameplay mechanic. I'll talk more about it next month as it's still in the prototype stage atm. I'm paying a friend (who is a level designer) to help me out so I can focus on the art. He's going to take care of some of these large new areas from now on. I hope to be able to pay him properly though so he can help out even more, so that's what I'm hoping to put more money towards as we approach the $2000 goal.

Without spoiling anything right now, the casino area is going to feel kind of like a resident evil stage, so you will have to do some exploring and perhaps light puzzle solving to get through it all. But don't worry, it will be the sort of area where you can solve it much faster the second time around if you're the type of person who keeps multiple save files. So don't worry about that, we're keeping that in mind as we develop the layout of the building and the gameplay design.

V0.08 (Medium update)

ETA: Mid – Late June 2019

Includes:

• Morning of Day 3.
• First gameplay with new body proportions.
• First possible body growth (from pregnancy, lactation, etc).
• Render new variations for all reusable CGs (including all combat sex scenes) for new base proportions and new, extra body growth (from pregnancy, lactation, etc).
• New Zombie type (Muscular/Buff zombie) with 1 combat sex scene.
• At least 1 more TBD sex scene(s).
• Conclusion of the Casino story content.
• Potentially meet 1 new important story character...

^This final design will be put up for one final confirmation vote for $5+ patrons after this post goes live.

Yep, since you will spend the night inside the Casino, I figured that would be the perfect time to break the update into 2 so I could better focus on each half. So you'll conclude the Casino story in this version, be introduced to a new buff zombie enemy type ($10 patrons will vote on his proportions), make some choices, and probably get teased about a new character that we probably wont see until ACT 2 of the game...

In this version, I'll have to redo all of the current CGs for Tiffany, and her new proportions, including all the sex scenes. Not to mention I'll now need variations for if she's pregnant too. So it's a bit of a pain, that most of the scenes will be new versions of the old ones, but it's just the necessity of it. besides, it should be cool to see her new body in action!

V0.09 (Medium update)

ETA: Mid – Late July 2019

Includes:

• 2 new characters (Men).
• New Areas (North part of town).
• New Zombie Beast (Z hound) with 1 combat sex scene.
• A zombie horde gangbang scene (5 zombies).
• At least 1 more TBD sex scene(s).
• Tiffany’s updated blue outfit (slightly police themed ;P)
• New, extra armor piece added for Tiffany’s main bikini outfit (Booty shorts, Mini Skirt or Corset – look out for a ‘re-vote’ poll soon).
• Finally meet Ali at the very end :)
  

This will be the version where you'll get to exit the casino and venture into the north side of town, only to find even more trouble of course ;)

Still not 100% sure on everything that will happen in this version, I only have the ending quest and the new Z hound enemy locked in. Along with the changes to her bikini color, the extra badge, and an extra, 4th armor piece (poll coming soon).

But you will meet and speak with Ali at the very end, as the content for that version ends...

V0.10 (Medium update)

ETA: Mid – Late August 2019

Includes:

• This version will be a special flashback sequence where you play as Ali when the infection started! ($750 Patreon goal!)
  • At least 4 sex scenes while playing as Ali.
  • New outfit for Ali to wear during this flashback sequence (decided by patrons)
  • Make choices as Ali in this flashback that will affect her character in the current time...

^ Yep, these next 2 versions is a whole lot of Ali! Something I'm very happy about ;)

So, this is something I've had in mind since we past the $750 goal a while ago. This version will have new content that takes place inside a flashback where Ali is filling Tiffany in on her experiences so far... You'll be able to go back to day 1 of the infection in Ashton lake and play several gameplay sections and scenes as Ali, and even make some choices there that will have an impact on Ali's personality/corruption level back in real time when we return to her conversation with Tiffany, as she leads her towards where her group of survivors are holed up.

Still a lot of specifics to plan out, but I think this is going to be really fun. If all goes well, we may be able to have more sections where you play as other characters in their memories in future versions...

V0.11 (Large update)

ETA: Mid – Late October 2019

Includes:

• Meet the rest of Ali’s group of survivors at their safe zone. (TBD NUMBER OF CHARACTERS, but a lot of new girls!)
• Take Ali as a companion, complete with full sex scenes when losing/submitting in combat.
• At least 3 more TBD sex scene(s).
• Quests from Ali’s group of survivors.
• Hopefully the first voiced lines for Tiffany added.
• New craft-able outfit for Tiffany.
• New Weapon (SMG).
• Potentially the end of Day 3?
• More… but this is so far off it’s really hard to tell at this point!

This will be where we get introduced to the majority of the remaining Ashton Lake girls. There will be quite a few, and probably a bunch of guys too. I have a lot already planned out, but I will be letting Patrons make some decisions as well as to what type of new characters they want to see the most.

Also you'll be able to take Ali as a companion, just like with Debra in v0.05, but this time it should be whenever you want, and she will come with full sex scenes of her own when defeated/submitting. I'm not 100% how much work this will be, and plans may change, so I can't say for sure what I'll really have in the real v0.11 at this early stage, but this is the plan for now.

I would also really like to have found a voice actor for Tiffany by this point. She's such an open character that it's really hard to pin down what I think she should sound like. But I really want to make a decision by this version at the latest.

V0.12 & Beyond…

Will include:

• Implementing patron suggestions.
• Birth scenes/offspring generation.
• Back to content with the Pharmacy girls.
• More farm content.
• More George content.
• More Sydney content.
• More Everything! & lots more after that :)

So yeah, I have lots of future plans, but it's kind of dumb to spill them all now. But I did want to reassure people that we will be returning to the south side of town, and continuing all the stories and scenes with the existing characters. We'll just be taking a little break from them so that I can focus my development on the new characters, areas and story that I have to introduce, before I let patrons free to let me know what they want to see. And I'll try my best to inject as much new beast and impregnation content as I can in to these Casino/Northside focused versions, since I know that's what a lot of people are here for.

Just keep in mind that this is an ambitious game and I'm planning for a lot of content spanning and many in-game 'weeks' and 2 'ACTS' (this covers up to day 4). So if you don't see much of your favorite fetish, it's probably coming in spades, just a little bit later on. :)

That being said, feel free to let me know your thoughts on these plans, and what you're looking forward to the most. I'd like to do a live stream or podcast where I can talk about some of these plans in more detail or get some more feedback/interaction with you guys. So I'll figure out when I can do something like that.
