If you don't care for MLP, feel free to just scroll past this post! It probably seems like a sharp departure from my normal content, but hey, done it before. Doodled this up at the start of Sunday's stream, and really wanted to finish it for posting on Monday.

So My Little Pony is something I've drawn maybe.. uh, 5 or 6 times? Nor did I ever participate in brony-fandom stuff, and thus it probably wasn't very apparent that I liked it. I felt most people either loved it or hated it, so I tried to draw it in a style that was enjoyable to my followers even if they fell in the latter category. It was a product-placement show intended for little girls, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the heck out of it. Well-written and creative, it falls right next to Sonic SatAM, Avatar, ReBoot, and a few other kids TV shows for me. Difference is, I wasn't an 'active' artist when those were airing, so I didn't have a chance to doodle up a tribute picture. I think the last one I did was Eleven from Stranger Things?

Anyway, it just ended, after 9 years of being an awesome, funny, weird show about pastel-coloured horses and friends. So I felt like drawing up something wholesome for it (for once). HD will be in monthly ZIP! Now back to our usual programming~

...Why is the world so wet? OH I'M CRYING NOW that's why TuT!

Aw... I kind of steered clear of this show but I’d be lying if I didn’t have at least a soft spot for it. It’s always sad to see something we like end but a 9 year run is pretty fantastic! Hard to believe I was a sophomore in high school when this show started. Pretty crazy how time flies. My hat comes off to you you weird little pony show. You weren’t half bad.

Silvador

*patiently waits for his Netflix to pick up the 9th season*

I still remember the Rarity you did was absolutely fantastic! I'm hoping we can get you to draw some more MLP stuff sometime. <3

Lord Chaos

Not ashamed to admit being a Brony and sorry to see the show end.

Cult of Dust

😭 This show's cheerful message helped me through some of the worst times of my depression. And being on the spectrum, the messages actually did help me understand people better. I just wish Dusty had a better return episode. :p

Gabe Fox

As a, lets say, fair weather Pony fan. (Fell off after a couple seasons but continued to appreciate it).... This is gorgeous and touching. Thank you for sharing.

Richard Awesome

It was a hell of a ride and it's over just like that. Love the drawing of Purple Smart.

weirdo123

Thank you for the drawing. Well done. 👏👏👏 And I appreciate and understand the sentiment. Most episodes were fun to watch, some a little too sweet, but always a good show. I will miss new episodes not coming along but have a wonderful collection of all the old ones to watch. 😊

While never really a participant in the MLP world, I've had the opportunity to meet people who were really into it at cons and view some of the art on FA, and I don't think I've ever met a more fun-loving, companionable group of people! The stuff really rubbed off!

Diamondstorm

This hits deep man! Never knew you were an MLP fan too, and I appreciate you making this little piece for the finale. This show was such a force of good for so many people. Like any series it had its good times and its bad times, which made the ending bittersweet for me. Because while I'm sad that it's over, I'm glad that it could end strong, with so many fans still loving it. And who knows, maybe gen 5 can pick up the baton.

Gorehound

Very adorable, thank you very much for the special nod, and may the lessons we each learned from the show live on with eachother. :)

Not Telling

That finale gave me feels. For anyone who feels sad about the end of the show, there may be some solace in the fact that the comics are continuing - I know the comics have a bit of a mixed reputation, but as far as I read there were some very interesting risks taken in them that I don't think the show would've dared.

I was not an avid watcher, but what I saw I liked, I enjoy the characters, and some people I really care about seem to be big fans. Nice tribute art.

Ramation

An often watched and Loved series; loved the "couples" that formed during its long run. We "funny strange Hue-mans" need friends growing up and growing old AND everywhere else. They can bring us joys and experiences that are impossible as a solo act.
