Sketch challenge - Elephant "Madu" (Patreon)

Remember a few days back, I talked about having a lot of halfway finished sketches that I didn't feel were finished enough to post? Well I'm using small bursts in between the larger projects as an opportunity to challenge myself into finishing some of them. Using some for gifts, some possibly as $25-tier YCH type things(?), or just some personal challenges like "draw this character that no one ever draws" or "draw a species you haven't ever done before/rarely".

So in this case I did this doodle a little while back, left half-finished. Wasn't too happy with it.. came to open it up again and took another whack at it. This is my gf Rei's OC "Madu", an Asian elephant who often fashions herself in flowers and delicates. It was a pretty fun/tough take... I admit I often do a same-y kind of face structure at times, and this was a chance to try and break away from that, do a species I rarely see done, have never drawn myself before, and still wanted to make look sexy, attractive, while retaining elephant-specific head shapes and a suitable bodytype.

Obviously I can improve, but I'm happy with the second take here. Still a few things I'd tweak and change, but I don't want these sketches to suck up my time; they're meant to fill small gaps in schedule, and offer a break from my norm. Still working on Predators p22! Will finish that in a day or so.
