Patreon fee changes cancelled (Patreon)

Public post. While the changes initially proposed by Patreon would've solved a few issues, I think most can agree it created more. The huge backlash and feedback has prompted Jack and Patreon to cancel the planned fee changes.

For now, things will be as they are. I get why they wanted to fix the fake pledges, the pledge anniversary, and such, but I'm glad they recognized exactly why their plan for it wasn't the best. I'm sure at some point down the road they'll want to make some changes, but I'd bet money that they learned not to do it without substantial feedback first, and/or opt-out modes.

Thank you all for sticking through this, and making this a public post so that those who may still follow me, but not pledge because of the changes, can choose (hopefully) if they'd like to return. I can understand if you feel Patreon wronged you, and while I can't defend their initial push, just keep in mind that they never charged anyone the fees. I only know that they did a solid by listening to the feedback and that there really isn't any other crowd funded site for ongoing ADULT material at the moment, so supporting my comics and work is -extremely- appreciated, now more than ever.

So, thank you, again! I don't ever take this platform and my place on it for granted.
