Hello everyone! We have a new release!

Version 0.3.1 brings extension toolbar buttons, enhancing the usability of browser popup dictionaries. Plus, it now automatically handles CPU incompatibilities.

For our Early Access tier members, Version 0.4.0 drops today, introducing Linux support, significantly improved popup dictionaries usability, and a few other enhancements.

We've addressed reported issues with OpenVINO on Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Yomi Ninja now identifies the CPU model and selects the compatible runtime option automatically.

It's ok, I had to make some changes before publishing the v0.4.0 post. Will take a few minutes, sorry. No checkout will be required for you.

This looks really awesome and I might support this project financially, but as of right now it doesn't work for me and there does not seem to be any manual that explains how to use it. I installed everything as explained in the Github page, it all looks good, I can select which screen I want to OCR etc. but when I press alt + S I get a red border arround the entire screen but no text is recognized anywhere so I cannot use Yomitan with it. It could well be that I am just using it wrong. I would really appreciate any support. (I am using Windows 10 with Ryzen 7 7800X3D if this info is of any help)

It seems like your issue may be related to CPU compatibility. This should have been addressed in version 0.3.1, but it might not be the only factor in your case. Please follow these steps: 1. Uninstall YomiNinja. 2. Install version 0.3.1. 3. Open the task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). 4. Find and terminate all YomiNinja processes by clicking on "End task" (if any are found). 5. Launch YomiNinja. 6. Navigate to YomiNinja settings. 7. Find the "OCR Engine" section 8. In the "OCR Engine" section, ensure that "ONNX CPU" is selected as the "Inference Runtime". 9. Click on "Restart OCR Engine". 10. Try using the OCR. Please let me know if this resolves the issue. Thanks!
