I had a chance on tonight's Patreon-only stream to work on the environment for my upcoming animation "Hit the Showers" ( I was running into some issues with rigging the characters, so I thought I'd change gears a bit).

The setting of the animation is going to be the changing room of a swimming pool at a tropical resort.  I got the basic layout, materials, and lighting mostly how I want it, but there's still a lot to add (lockers, showers, and other props to make it look more realistic.

Things are moving a little slower than I wanted, but I'm excited about how everything is turning out =)  BTW, the benches are Kish's contribution to the scene.  He's getting into modeling as well, and is hoping to help me with prop building and other assistance going forward.

Edit: After the stream, I tweaked the materials and rendering settings a bit more.  Now the bricks really pop and the splotches in the shaded areas have been smoothed out.  The scene as-is takes a very long time to render, but I've got some tricks to speed that up for the animation process that will maintain the same level of detail at a fraction of the rendering time ;)

Edit2: Added tiles and planter (soon to be filled with plant)
