Hellllluuuuuuur friends 💕👹

Got another storyline/dialogue update for ya to feast your eyes on:

Recap: I've been reworking certain dialogue scenes/pages/parts of the story in preparation of the print version of BKI, Volume 1.

The next dialogue update/round of edits I worked on were from Pages 17-27 in Chapter 1. It's been so long since I touched these pages that it felt nostalgic going back through them to update things 😆

For this update, the original pages 17-27 WEREN'T horrible–I just felt they needed a tune up and maybe some reworking of panels/dialogue/sentence flow through the storyline.

The changes I will be implementing here are as follows:

- General retouching/reworking of most dialogue bubbles & speech bubble positioning

- Reworked some of the dialogue from Pages 17-27 to flow better

- Reworked two of the panels to fit the scene/page better (the panel of Cal stretching on Page 21 & the panel of Norman pointing on Page 24)

- Rewrite the narrative/dialogue on Pages 24 & 25 so that the flow of the story feels better and reads easier.

Lmk what you think! Have a wonderful weekend 💕

-J

Loving to see the changes as they roll out! I like the change to the chant that Norman says at the start; it really feels “demonic”

Same comment as the one I made on your previous point. It's not about consistency. The artistic technique is meant to signal the human brain that the character in question is in fact not human. It's not a matter of error.
