I've been wanting to say this but personally I really kinda hate Haruno honestly. She's so annoying and meddling in these teenagers' lives in this ultra passive-aggressive way. It just really irks me. Most of what she says to them is either true or at least not quite wrong but the way she does it is just so annoying. In my opinion Hiratsuka-sensei and Haruno show a perfect contrast of how to and not to interact with and "help" younger people figure out how to do things or what they're doing wrong. Hiratsuka-sensei gives advice when she sees they can't solve it on their own and may need some guidance, speaks to them on their level but still clearly with more life experience, but still makes them figure it out on their own in the end. Haruno swoops in uninvited and spits some toxic line that just makes everyone depressed. Even if it may end up helping them realise something that they wouldn't have otherwise and speed up their development, it's simply not the right way to go about it in my opinion.

Yui "twitched" and was hurt when Iroha said to her "that's so like you" before the chocolate event started, which totaly goes well with the episode theme. When Hikigaya asked if Yui was free; like you said; this was also because of what she saw with Yukino and Hikigaya in episode 11 but I don't know if you caught the neat symbolism : to show she was afraid to answer him because of Yukino, the episode turned to Yui looking at the closed door of the club where Yukino was. Another great reaction :D

Thank you for letting me know! When I first paused on it it seemed like the normal preview stuff which I tend to avoid. Interesting how it kind of previews her thought process as you head into the finale

Three things about Haruno: 1. She knew about the genuine thing because she's in contact with Iroha (Probably, never confirmed but it feels pretty obvious in the LN and in the Anime), 2. She is meddling so much because she is keeping tabs on Yukino because of Mamanon. 3. Haruno cares a lot about Yukino (and also Hachiman) and she wants them to grow. Haruno things the only way for people to grow (or the best way) is through conflict.

I agree, but I don't know what Haruno's deal is, so I will wait. But for god sake, they are Teenager and need to experience the struggle so they can learn from it. The mother is even worse. That was gaslightning as it finest. "I gave you freedom, but I fear what path you take", or the "it is my responsiblity for failing". Bad parent.
