Great reaction, yeah this one seems like a lot of fun. Unique concept that looks well done, and like you said they can play with the common tropes a lot like this. Nice art style as well.

"They skipped" Yes the did, the manga just starts out with the premise that Rin likes Eije and tries to use the "harem" to win his heart. The first chapter is the harem conversation.
