0062 - Martin Prince Sr (Patreon)

Someone within the Simpsons organisation is paying attention to these things. Martin's father appears in one shot at the opera, annoyed at the noisy Simpson family up in a box (sidenote: The Simpsons can afford a box at the opera?), and he appears rarely after. But he appears to be relatively consistent nonetheless!

This character only exists in orbit of Martin, so it is surprising that he would be consistent throughout the show, but I really appreciate this needless attention to detail. No one would blame them if they got this wrong between appearances and suddenly Martin's father appeared completely different. Well, most people wouldn't blame them. I guess I'd probably be chastising them mercilessly by now if I'd discovered he had changed dramatically.

Martin Prince Sr appears to be a stockbroker, which probably means he's not a great person.
