There's now over 300 patrons! It may not be enough to hire external help just yet but it's still a huge achievement for Blurring the Walls!

Tier Updates and Release Schedule:

To streamline the process and better manage expectations, I’m updating the tiers and release schedule.

• The Platinum Tier will continue to receive updates first with access to Platinum discord channel, drafts and other exclusive art.

• The Can’t Wait Tier will get the update one week after Platinum with maybe occasional bonus art.

• The Public Release will follow at least 3-4 weeks after Platinum.

  This change means that all patrons, regardless of tier, will receive the most recent version available at the time of release without delays caused by iterative versions.

On Release Dates:

0.5.0 was ambitious and the scope grew much larger than I originally intended as I wanted to setup a few key moments and escalation points within the update but it also demonstrated that sometimes more time is needed to achieve the polish I strive for, which was only achieved more closely in 0.5.1 and there's still some misc work left to do if I'm being honest.

So while I will try to make updates smaller going forward, some updates will naturally be large and others will be smaller. So I don't think it's a good idea to commit to a fixed release schedule.

But to keep you all in the loop and maintain transparency, I will start sharing every 2-weeks a dev diary. I understand this approach might not suit everyone, but I believe it’s essential to maintain the quality of the project.

On DRM:

I strongly dislike DRM and previous releases didn't have any type of protection but given the rapid leaks of the last few releases, literally less than 24hours, I've decided to try to implement some level of protection with the help of a friend for 0.6.0. While obviously not foolproof, it should at least pose a challenge to immediate leaks but we will see how well it works. Any DRM will be removed for the public version.

Other Notes:

I'm extremely excited for 0.6.0, that one is going to be a fun one!
