August 2022 Sketches 18 - Link (Breath of the Wild) (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Link from Breath of the Wild. The idea was suggested by Zelenal.

"Link (Botw) is about to face Ganon in Hyrule castle. But making his way through the castle is tougher than he thought.  Surrounded by guardians he drinks several potions in desperation...  Looks like those guardians won't be much trouble now, or Ganon for that matter."

Link was pretty much covered by the guardians that guarded the corrupted Hyrule Castle. He could barely move, but he was able to do so enough to drink a potion he kept on saving for a while. One that was made of the many ingredients he could find in all of the regions of Hyrule, mainly focused on Stamina and Strength increase. Struggling, he was able to reach the bottle to his mouth, chugging it down as quick as possible...drinking it all until the last drop.

THe guardians seemed to stop moving, as Link seemed to stop showing any signals of life...or so their circuits thought, as all of them started to violently shake, their heads spinning all over trying to examine what was going on, not knowing that the threat was right under them...

*boom...* THe cluttered guardians seemed to have grown apart from a sudden shift under them...

*Boom* Bits of aggressively healthy skin color started to be visible between the Guardians bodies and tendrils...

*BOOM* Some Guardians lost their footing as the skin collored mass had aggressively surged outwards, falling down to the nearby lake, the remaining ones struggling to hang on to their threatiningly growing target..

*BOOOOM* Link, powerfully bursting out from underneath the guardians, proudly stood up, dwarving every single Guardian that tried to stop him, some of them still cluelessly hanging from his massive, strong arms, their tendrils being too short to cover his expanding muscles.

Since they were machines, they didn't know nothing else but to execute their orders, no matter how big or powerful the target. And so they started firing away their lasers!...only for them to do barely any damage to Link, leaving no marks at all, or even just boucing away from his plump muscles! If anything, this only made Link even more annoyed at the machines, and just wanted to deal with them as fast as possible...which was more than possible with his new size and strength...
