June/July Sketches 3 - Koops(Gijinka)(Paper Mario TTYD)(Sequence) (Patreon)

Here's a sequence featuring a gijinka of Koops from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. The idea was suggested by Silvoid. Took some liberties with the suggestion. Made it so he absorbs the power of the Crystal Stars instead.

"A human version of Koops mysteriously absorbs some of Hooktails' strength and powers up after defeating her, getting larger and more muscles and getting some self-confidence. Later on he and Mario venture down to the bottom of Pit of 100 Trials where they face and vanquish Bonetail and once again Koops grows bigger and stronger, now becoming a bit cocky about his new strength. Finally near the end of their journey, Koops is able to single-handedly strike down Gloomtail and absorb their power. Becoming stronger and more overconfident than ever, they decide to defeat the Shadow Queen and absorb her power for himself, becoming the new vainglorious shadowy demonic ruler of Rogueport of Petalburg."

1-2. After a tough battle against Hooktail, the dragon that terrorized Petalburg, Koops dad and the Crystal star jumped out of the beast's mouth. Now with one star, Mario will be able to advance further into his adventure to reveal the secret of the Thousand Year Door....Except, the moment Mario took it, it visibly poofed out of existance, and the moment it did, Koops surged taller for some reason. It was too much for just a coincidence for them to not be connected...

3-4. After dealing the foul Lord Crump's attempt to destroy the Great Tree in Boggly Woods, the elder of the Punies trusted the Crystal Star to Mario. Koops being praised for his strength and size by the little creatures...but once again, the Crystal Star dissappeared once again, and Koops body grew much bigger than last time! His body bumping into the ceiling, the little Punies shocked at the sudden growth of the already big Koops! Seems like the Clock Out ability of the Star, instead of stopping time, it sped up Koops growth...Koops squeezed his way out of the tree before he left a mess inside the sacred tree;;

5-6. After foiling Grubba's plans of absorbing others' strength to stay young and strong, the Crystal Star jumped out of Grubba's device. Koops, who seemed to be more confident with his new strength and size, seemed ready to keep on fighting, after he had a quick winning streak throught the Glitz Pit fights.

The Star poofed away once again, and this time, Koops not only got bigger, but his muscles got and incredibly huge surge of size! The sheer amount of mass and muscle making his clothes shred into tatters! Koops couldn't help but to feel a little embarrassed;;

7-10. Doopliss was just having a chill time causing mischief to the people of Twilight Town, turning them into pigs just by swinging his bell...until he was abruptly interrupted by Koops big head, who bursted into Doopliss chambers! The little mimic too shocked to even attempt fighting;;

From the outside, it could be seen how Koops had grown big enough to easily reach the tallest chamber of Creepy Steeple. Being too afraid to make Koops angry, Doopliss just gave away his Crystal Star...which only seemed to make Koops surge bigger even further, and even more confident too...

11-14. After easily winning Cortez's duel, the Pirate King let Mario and Koops get his Crystal Star. Koops was getting hungry from all the adventuring...and as if it responded to his needs, the Crystal Star used Sweet Feast, and summoned a massive feast for the massive young man, who shove all the food into his hungry mouth with how hungry he was! The food only adding even more to his size! Filling up more and more of the inside of the Pirate's Grotto!

Lord Crump alread got the X-Ship ready to surprise Mario and co to get the Crystal Star from them...only for Koops' massive body to burst out of the cave, creating a wave so big that sent the X-Ship flying!

15-16. The next Crystal Star was kind of a nice break...Poshley Height was a far place, but Koops had no trouble taking the whole party on his shoulders, and reach the rich neighbourhood after a short jog. And once they reached the Temple where the Star was kept in...he just raised the whole Temple. Pennington already warned them about the fake Star, so Mario went ahead and took the real one...once again, dissappearing and adding even more size to Koops.

17-20. Lord Crump thought he had the Crystal Stars in his bag after creating his most dangerous weapon!...but the moment he saw how big Koops has gotten, he was too paralyzed in shock to even attempt do anything...as he was defeated by just one flick of Koops' finger...As Koops was too big too enter the X-Nauts' base, and he didnt want to destroy the structure where Princess Peach's friend was....once again, another star, even more size to the massive, brave Koopa.

21-28. As the heroes opened the Thousand Year Door, Grodus managed to get in...since the heroes already gathered all the Crystal Stars, he might as well catch them off guard in the Palace of Shadow to steal them from them to make his plan work...except, he was interrupted by Bowser literally falling on him, knocking him unconscious. Bowser was there to face Mario after the plumber seemed to be always ahead of him in the hunt for Crystal Stars....but then the ceiling started shaking again...what could be even heavier than Bowser?....

BOOM

Without even trying Koops' massive ass fell from Rogueport, through the many layers of the Palace of Shadow...destroying the place where the Demon of legend was sealed in...defeating it for sure without even trying.

With Grodus' plan being foiled, Bowser being too busy trying to escape underneath Koops massive cheeks, and the Demon of Legend was destroyed before it was a threat once again, Koops has saved the day! With a reassuring "Wahoo!" Mario congratulated the not so shy, gigantic Koopa, who now will be able to go back to his hometown as an all grown up Koopa...in every sense of the word!
