Greetings adventurers!

Bharzul is truly a city of wonders. You know they have a fully autonomous network of constructs that tends to the day to day mundanities of city life? Truly. I’ve heard that the core of it is a closely guarded secret. Some advanced form of magic no doubt. In either case, it does make things rather convenient with their chariots and self-repairing machines. I did come across one oddity though. A grumpy old dwarven gentlemen who said something big was coming. He carried with him an odd looking flail with three red crystals on it… I’m sure it was nothing.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:
Bringing a close to our Drudgework line is a bit bittersweet. We’ve enjoyed making these creations that work well with Tom Cartos’ lovely Bharzul setting, but it’s time we moved on to other themes. That said, we couldn’t leave without making the core of it all and the weapon that would come from it.
The flail and Drudgemother were actually the first things we thought of in this line of constructs and ended up being the last we made. It just kind of made sense in order to bring everything together at the end. We haven’t made a flail before and I think they, much like many other things outside of standard sword and board, are a bit underrepresented. We knew that we wanted to borrow the psionic style powers from the Drudgemother and bring them to action here in a way that you can use. That was the basis.
The abilities of controlling constructs was a bit exciting for me as I think there’s something fascinating about getting to turn the tides for a short time in the right circumstance. Those sort of mechanics always brought me joy and I think they are sure to make the table excited as well.
Also I just think there’s something inherently fascinating about a weapon that lets you learn things about your enemy. I knew from the moment I wrote that mechanic on the Drudgemother, I wanted it to transfer to here and I’m glad it went so easily.

The Drudgelord’s Lash is the last weapon for August and comes with the paired Drudgemother that will be releasing later today. Keep your eyes peeled for that. Moving into September is an exciting time for me because it’s the beginning of spooky season and I loooove being spooky. We plan on doing another round of October spookiness once we get there!

We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
