Greetings adventurers!

It’s not often that an individual walks into our shop and plops a helmet down on the table offering it to us for free. It’s even less frequent when that helmet has a skull still in it. When asked why the lady wanted rid of the skull and helmet combo, she made it clear that she was at her wits end with his chattering, though she did find him useful at times. Never one to turn down an interesting offer, I was pleased to make the acquaintance of Larry N. He’s been chatting up customers in our shop ever since, though sadly we’ve not had any offers on him. Hmm, maybe there was something to her point.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:

Okay, straight up we’re huge fans of the Baldur’s Gate franchise and even bigger fans of  Swen and the team over at Larian that put together Divinity: Original Sin and D:OS2. We couldn’t be more excited for the release of BG3 and I know that both of us are going to be pouring some hours into it. It only felt right to make something to go along with the release, but we knew we didn’t just want to focus on BG3. We’ve loved all of Larian’s games, so we figured we should devote something to their catalog.

This started off as a pretty goofy idea to just make some form of referential item with the ability to break the 4th wall a little bit. Fernando had a stroke of brilliance with mimicking the general style of Larian’s logos and I had to put a little bit of my pun game to work with the name. It just all came together.

Ultimately we wanted it to still be a useful item though, and providing mechanics to learn information about a creature or thing was something that I really found exciting. The idea that the information in Larry’s head is all jumbling around and it just comes pouring out of his mouth whenever possible was something that was too fun to pass up. We hope you enjoy this silly little tribute to Swen Vicke and the entire Larian team.

We’re into a new month with this release and we’re continuing to churn out more content for you all. We have plenty of items lined up for the month as well as possibly our last Drudgework creature toward the end of the month. We’ll be providing updates on converting our catalog to PF2E and a lot more. We’re excited to get it all in your hands!
