Hello everyone!

Our next backlog release is one of my all time favorite illustrations that we've done. The Luma Sacrosanct really just captured a sense of piety and glory that I really enjoyed when we released it.

A look back from Matthew:
This one was actually a bit of a challenge to design as I remember. I really wanted it to have four cycling faces and that meant I had to come up with four separate mechanics for it that all felt unique yet themed properly.
I ended up leaning heavily into the holy and thankfully that theming actually gave me a lot of places to work off of. Funnily enough, I somewhat group this mentally with the Blade of the Battle Hymn. Just that imagery of a holy warrior of music and light went really well together for me.
I always wanted to see a party of Clerics and Paladins going on a dangerous pilgrimage that included some of the more divine themed items that we've created and this one is right in that wheelhouse.
I remember the release for this one was a bit more muted, but that won't temper my love for it. Fernando really crushed the illustration and made this thing feel special.

We're so excited to continue working through our backlog of items. There's so many good trips down memory lane to come and I really want to share all of those with you. I often remember a lot more about the item when I get to write these posts so it's amazing to me to revisit them.

You can find complete downloads below with all of the formats that we normally only offer for our patrons. These backlog items will be publicly available for you to get a sense of what kind of quality you can expect from our releases.

If you would like to gain access to these robust formats for every new magic item we release, including early access to them, consider becoming a patron.
