Greetings adventurers!

I make it my business to get to know all types of creators in this wonderfully varied world, but few of them bring me as much joy as the goblins. They have a reckless abandon that removes inhibitions of standard safety procedures and whether you consider that a good thing or not is entirely up to you. I’m certain they lose some fingers along the way, but I must say that the things they churn up are something to behold. Take this one for example, simple as can be and yet no one had thought of it yet. Maybe there’s a reason for that.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

If that strikes your fancy, consider becoming a Patron

Design notes from Matthew:

Alright, yeah look we sometimes have some really silly ideas and the thing about silly ideas is that you can try to shove them away and move on to the next, or you can entertain them and try to turn them into something viable. We’ve always been of the mindset that within each silly idea, there’s some nugget of gold that hits the balance of silly and interesting just right to make for a piece that people will want to use.

This is one of those pieces where each of the versions actually function really closely to one another. That’s not usually the case as 5E and PF2E are such different systems in so many ways. This time though, I think it mostly exists outside of the standard action economy in such a way that it made for very similar pieces between the two.

I’m not going to lie, this was a really difficult item to write in the end. I had the perfect idea of what I wanted it to do with launching you upward, exploding, you cutting away at some point and floating down to the ground via the parachute in a featherfall/gentle landing kind of way, but figuring out how to cram those mechanics in the systems was actually a difficult one. What I hope folks take away from this is that sometimes silly is hard, but hard can be good when you take on the challenge.

Next week we’ll be serving up our combo of creature and item that we love doing so much. This month is something to behold I’ll say. I can’t wait for it to batter its way into your heart… or your castle, whichever comes first. Have a great weekend everyone!

We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
