I've written an article today in which I'll show you how to create simple fluid animations in Blender. I had done this a while back but apparently forgot to take notes. Now neither of us will forget how it works for next time :-) 

I've attached two GIFs here, on the second of which the crude cup has a handle and the coffee shader is different. I think I prefer the first colour. What do you think? Careful with the spillage! 😂

I was looking into this as I've just bought Fluidos for Daz Studio, and the system reminded me of how fluids are setup in Blender. I had some success getting the basics of that going (see the attached blue splash GIF). I'll play around with it and let you know how it works once I've figured it out. Early indications look promising.
